The Great Escape

Pros: This place is a hidden gem. It is well located with restaurants within 10-20min from the lodge. Checking in was effortless and the place is exactly as shown in the pictures. The swimming pools are absolutely gorgeous and the breakfast was really good. The staff were so kind and very helpful. Keep up the amazing service. I'm definitely coming back soon!

We had a wonderful time with my family. The staff were excellent, from Mdu, Boozat and the owner.

Pros: We had a delicious daily breakfast and more than enough.

Cons: Loved everything about the lodge, the quietness of the place. We had a wonderful time with my family. The staff were excellent, from Mdu, Boozat who spent time with us made us laugh all the way. The owner had that personal touch with every person who was there. My mom and my sister enjoyed their relaxed birthdays.

Stuff made things easier, the host and the lady who served us breakfast on Sunday.

Pros: The host who welcomed us very humble and friendly guy. I had an issue of some sort in the apartment that can't disclose. Same guy, sorry forgotten he's name! The kind one. Came within minutes issue was talked about and resolved. Breakfast 10/10

Cons: Bathroom 🚻 yoh worse than worse 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 Kitchen and upgrade a bit WIFI, not sure if even works

Amazing place, so quiet and clean. We loved it and we actually didn't want to go back home.😃

Pros: We loved all the pools, the nature, the house was fantastic including the fire place and we loved the braai area, perfect for the family. The staff was friendly and kind, we were not being bothered at all, which is what I prefer. Amazing place.

Cons: There was not enough kids play areas, just the trumpoline.

Peaceful place

Pros: We stoped here for 1 night, all good, very peaceful. Recommended to drive there with day light. Keep numbers at hand to call if you get there late.

Pros: The place is so beautiful the pools were so clean and we loved how it is between the nature. The staff was wonderful and went the extra mile to make us comfortable and happy. The breakfast was so special we loved everything. We actually went to see the place for our wedding and we loved it.

Awesome bush experience we had, cottages private enough but not secluded. Close to town too.

Pros: Did not have breakfast, the cottage we stayed in was clean, kitchen had all utensils too one would need. Xander attended to concerns / issues promptly and the communication was on point from day 1 of reserving the place.
