Valentine's weekend
Pros: We were in the luxury room with a private jacuzzi 👌🏾We felt like VIPs at this place. The staff, the food, the service, and the area were all exceptional. We really had a fantastic Valentine's weekend with my husband. And we even experienced a beautiful performance at the restaurant while enjoying dinner. Thank you so much.
Cons: The rooms could be cleaner.

Pros: Everything was great. Food, service, staff, view, massage.....
Cons: 1) Cushions in room to sleep on a bit flat. 2) Would have been nice to have a bar fridge to keep cooldrinks and water cold (but we did get a bucket with ice from the restuarant) 3) Pool loungers not comfy All the above small things. Will go back any day

5 Star Service
Pros: We had a wonderful weekend stay at La Montagne in Hartebeespoortdam. The establishment is officially 4-star, but the service we received exceeded a 5-star level. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. The property and gardens were immaculate, and the views over the dam were breathtaking, it honestly reminded us of the lakes in Italy. The restaurant was also excellent, with great choices for both lunch and dinner, and the price point is very good for the generous portion sizes. Breakfast was hearty and we didn’t want for anything. Every small detail felt thoughtfully considered and well implemented. We’ll definitely be back.

Good place to visit
Pros: It was stowed away at the mountain but still closer to places i wanted to visit, it's beautiful, the staff were very nice they made sure we had a great stay
Cons: It is difficult to locate, the reception lady wasn't so polite. The bedsheets appeared to be dirty when we arrived, they did change them but they don't really lookthe cleaniest still

Pros: The lodge is beautifully located and offers a peaceful, remote escape. The rugged road leading up to the property adds to the “real getaway” feeling, though I’d recommend a vehicle with decent ground clearance. The staff were warm and welcoming, the restaurant team was excellent, and the food and views from the deck were outstanding. The luxury tents are a brilliant touch for this setting, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Beauty and calmness personified
Pros: We loved the Wow effect as we entered the parking area after the 7min gravel road. The view from our luxury tent 7 was awesome. Better still was the view from the deck near the restaurant. The breakfast was simply fabulous. Staff, Simon, Jabulani, Abel the security, lady who cleaned our tent and the guy who washed our car, without us asking they are AL' a great tribute to the total package of service. We were 2 hrs early for check in but they STILL accommodated us. We'll be back for sure. 💯🙏👌☑️
