Great stopover, beautiful location

Pros: Lovely stop over. Excellent food and service at the pub on arrival. Delicious coffee in the morning. The river runs at the bottom of the property and gives a peaceful feel. Everything you need to make it comfortable and pleasant. Really worth it.

Cons: Wooden stairs leading to the rooms are a little rickety and may need maintenance soon.

Pros: The accommodation was comfortable. The location is excellent. The menu is limited but the food is very good. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Pros: Position, affordability, great welcome and river frontage.

Cons: We would have liked breakfast, but they didn't open until 8 , and we wanted to be on the road 500 km to drive

A scenic place for a getaway where adults and kids have plenty to entertain them.

Pros: A very nice short stay stay at Aloes. The playground was fantastic for our kids, with a mini zip line, trampolines and many other features to keep them happy. The food was also great. We had a chicken burger, a chilli burger and a pizza and they were all super tasty, with great service thrown in. The views of the river and the surrounding mountains are also pretty awesome.

Pros: Great stopover on the way to the Kruger or Moz. Nice pub with good food. Burgers are really good. Staff and owner went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Cons: Truck noise (road noise) is a bit much but bearable.

Surrounded by Nature

Pros: Beautiful and neat accommodation. Love the scenery. Great location. Loved the dogs.

Cons: Most staff are friendly except for the one woman who took our food order. She was rude, impatient and looked irritated. She was also like that towards the lady working behind the bar.

Good , convenient accommodation.

Pros: The room was spacious, quiet and near the river. Lovely gardens. Nice outdoor restaurant area for eating. The pizzas were very good. The breakfasts were also great. Sitting on the balcony with the river flowing nearby was very relaxing. Friendly staff.

Cons: There wasn't any wifi.
