Pros: Great hosts, Very clean place, peaceful, well located and very well placed in an estate that has a beautiful embrace of nature …many spots to just sit and reflect - both in and out of the house ….theres a lot of positives to the property. Well furnished house too

A delight in Dullstroom.

Pros: The house was spacious and well appointed. Good kitchen utensils and very comfortable bedrooms and lounge. The fire places worked a dream on such a cold weekend.

Cons: The heaters for the larger bedrooms could be a bit bigger.

The house is very comfortable and clean in a lovely position. But could be better easily.

Pros: Lloyd, the butler, was at the house to meet us when we arrived and show us around. The staff we met were all very friendly and helpful. Lloyd came to make us a fire every evening as it was chilly and checked up on us in the mornings.

Cons: I think that the welcome drink of a glass of either soda water or ginger ale in a champagne glass was a little odd. I think they could have done a little better. I was also surprised that there was no welcome hamper of local produce which is usual at self catering of this quality. Not so much as a bottle of water was provided.

Pros: A very well maintained and well appointed home at Walkersons with very friendly and helpful staff. Great for time away with the family. Host/owner very supportive.

Cons: Ventilation in the lower bedroom could be improved.

Great property and location

Pros: I really appreciated the prompt responsiveness from the host (Mientjie) regarding our requests for better wifi (which was much significantly better than wasn't our previous stay at the property) and electric blankets. The service we received from the support staff, Beaton and Lloyd was great and it made our family's stay there very comfortable and memorable. We will definitely be returning.

Cons: Although the property has a tumble drier, it was broken and we only detected when we attempted to dry some laundry because it had not been communicated. It would be great if this was communicated ahead of time so that guests are aware before using the washing machine. Everything else was great.
