Pros: This property is amazing from outside to inside. Love the duck pond.

Cons: This property has no electric blankets in the kiddies room. Fireplace needs attention and to think I had seen this review before but figured it must have been sorted. Smoke escapes throughout the house from the fireplace. I know Dullstroom is “safe” but it would be nice to have a night security just for guests peace of mind. When you get to a house and find an alarm it means there are concerns but when the same house does not offer the same alarm for guests it means guests are the security? I was not comfortable with that.

Midleton House

Pros: We loved the house and the setting in the lovely grounds. The ponds and ducks were beautiful. Perfect for a family stay.

Cons: Even though that magnificent house needs a little tlc, we still loved it.

Loved the property, unfortunately struggled to sleep.

Pros: Wonderful location, loved the house and would've loved to have been there longer to get a better sense of the facilities!

Cons: The beds. I'm afraid not one of us slept well as a result of the beds. The pillows need to be replaced and the mattresses are extremely hard. All three guests had the same experience.

Perfect extended family /group getaway!

Pros: The house is very comfortable, well appointed with many homely finishes.the beds are all very comfortable too. We loved playing games on the patio, which is quiet and has a wonderful view of the water with the geese. We loved sitting in the lounge enjoying the fireplace at night.

Pros: It's big and spacious. Loved that it has a dishwasher, griller. Love the dams, ducks. Quiet and still. Peaceful. Secure Loved that it has Hot water too :) Plenty games :)

Cons: There were dirty dishes from the previous tenant in the dishwasher so it had mould etc. Perhaps fish in the dam, and less weeds, so we could fish and not have to go out

We enjoyed our stay and the ground staff was very helpful

Pros: The location was great, the ducks and the duck ponds were superb, very relaxing sitting on the covered porch and just watching the ducks

Cons: Soap and shampoo were in short supply. Could have had oil, salt and pepper in the kitchen. The sherry was a very nice touch

Cons: The one room's beds were set up incorrectly.
