Vetho Farmhouse Dullstroom

Vetho Farmhouse is an absoulte gem. We will defiately be back, only this time, for a longer stay.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay! The property is surrounded by beautiful gardens and mountain vistas, and the house itself is so large that our group had plenty of room to spread out. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the pool is absolutely stunning. A major highlight was the spa—the treatments, sauna, steam room and hot tub were highlights of our trip. The peace and quiet here are unmatched; we left feeling rested and refreshed. Thank you to Lebo at the spa and Grace, our housekeeper, for taking such great care of us. We didn't want to leave!

Cons: We did have two suggestions for future stays: an additional set of cutlery would be a great addition to save guests from needing to wash up after every meal. Also, adding curtains to the lounge with the fireplace would really enhance the 'cosy' factor and help hold the warmth on those cold nights!

Great for families!

Pros: Location is great. Close to town and Highland Gate (for golf and paddle). Lizzy, Jan and the rest of staff were great.

Cons: The house and cottage share the same pool, which wasn't a problem but not that clear from the booking information. General maintenance can be better - house needs a little TLC (new curtains, etc.). Gas geysers can be a bit tricky. Beds and pillows and very soft and uncomfortable.

Pros: Everything is amazing, suitable for all weather not to mention the scenic beauty and privacy. The Spa is an added PLUS!

Cons: Nothing honestly.

Incredible retreat-like stay

Pros: Was the perfect getaway to relax. Whether you’re solo, a couple or need a whole house for a family or friends’ trip, this place is a real spoil with a spa located at the bottom of the house. Staff were amazing and hospitable, making you feel right at home and the location was very safe, allowing you to feel completely at ease but still remote.

Cons: It would be great to include some form of catering option, maybe a chef on special request but both the house and villa are perfectly kitted to bring all your own, so it didn’t take away from our stay. We just didn’t want to leave at all!

The pictures don’t do this place justice,it’s very clean the bed was super comfortable. Fire stove is a bonus.l recommen

Pros: The place is perfect, right from the self check in until check out. The villa is situated on a mountain which makes the view exquisite. They have a fire place😍. The pool looked great, very clean. Even though we didn't use it because it was a bit cold that week. I would love to get into some other time. The spa facility was amazing, the lady that assist us was very friendly and helpful. Definitely coming again.

Beautiful house in a secluded, quiet location

Pros: Beautiful villa in a safe and secure location. This place exceeded our expectations. It was an amazing stay, and we only wish we could have stayed longer. Not far to Dullstroom Town and the activities we had booked before our arrival. Would highly recommend Vetho Farmhouse to anyone looking for a peaceful location.
