The stay was awesome, thank you.
Pros: The facility provided the comfort needed for a weekend stay. Liked the separate cottage. The outside living area was great and very inviting to use. The bushbaby feeder is an awesome addition and highlight of the trip.
Cons: The cutlery and crockery is mix-matched and very outdated. A fresh / new set of glasses, crockery and cutlery would be amazing for a big family gathering. Also the curtains could be updated in the main house.

Review on carpe diem.
Pros: The house is situated at the perfect place, the house and cabin was very accommodating, clean and neat. There was a lot of animals around the house and the small river flowing behind the cabin gives it a tranquil setting. Would definitely suggest the house and would return as well for another stay.
Cons: There wasnt nothing me and the family disliked the place was perfect.

Beautiful experience and great value
Pros: I liked the size of the rooms and the location of the property. The stream that was just a few metres away, all the tables and seats spread around the property allowed us to move with the sun. I liked the balconies, that allowed us to watch the wildlife from above. I liked everything.
Cons: It is not a necessity but we were used to the little soaps and shampoos at the places we visit, so we did not pack soap for our trip, this time and there was none, but we managed.

Carpe Diem is exceptionally great value for money, peaceful and a must to be experienced.
Pros: Carpe Diem is far better in reality than the photo's make it out to be. We were 8 people and we had more than enough space. The outside areas are also comfortable as well the braai area. The fire pit is very welcoming and many conversations were held there. The mattresses, linen and towels were of high standards. Everyone slept well. We thoroughly enjoyed the bush babies on our roofs at night and the monkeys in the early mornings. The porcupines under the wooden cottage were a marvel. I highly recommend Carpe Diem for families. It is worth every cent! Carpe Diem is very privately stacked away from main traffic, yet very easy to access. We had memorable encounters with numerous animals to everyone's delight. Rest and relaxation come naturally at Carpe Diem. A very special \
Cons: On the top everything looked clean but once you lift the duvet, dust was lying thick around the bed frames. We could not use the small bed tables or drawers because they were all so dusty. The windows and frames were extremely dusty and spoiled the view. Understandably it is expected of each group to clean up after themselves but no effort was made to ensure that the previous group left the dishes in a clean state. We had to literally soak and scrub plates, crockery and other kitchen equipment before we could use it. There was a cracked and filthy beer glass in the cupboard of the cottage. Only 1 towel rail in the cottage was in working condition. The other one was completely broken. The shower could not drain because of the amount of dust which accumulated in the drain plug, which we had to clean. The shower also leaks water onto the floor of the bathroom. The shower head sprays very little water at a time. The shower in the main house, downstairs, does not have a shower door, which creates a terrible mess. We booked a family of 8 for 3 nights and were given only 2 rolls of single ply toilet paper, very little dish wash liquid, 1 wash cloth and 1 dry cloth. The stove takes a very long time to reach a descent temperature and is barely usable. The electric frying pan's legs are not connected to the pan. Despite these things, we STILL recommend Carpe Diem. The overall ambiance of Carpe Diem and what is offered at the price, is so worth it. We will always think back fondly of Carpe Diem.
