Pillows Luxury Safari Villa

Pros: The location was perfect, the bedrooms have aircon. The pool was very welcome on the hot days.

Cons: There is no aircon in lounge/kitchen and you cant have the doors open once the sunsets due to the insects. Also it caters for 4 people but only 3 bar stools. So just a few little things to make it a perfect 10.

The Villa the gift that kept giving!

Pros: This villa was a stunning escape in the heart of thr most beautiful place in South Africa. The elegance and modern layout and living spaces were fantastic! Air cons added the comfort and the pool and giraffe hide spectacular. Thank you! Stunning stay!

Cons: I would suggest an aircon for the lounge and kitchen...too hot otherwise. Thankfully most our days were overcast but the last day very uncomfortable. Also I suggest you check your appliances or upgrade The fridge didn't work as well as it should We had to use our camping fridge We cook from home and brought everything we needed which means a full fridge. We only kept our coldrinks in the fridge. Also the microwave needs to be looked at kept cutting out and the dishwasher needs a service...the parts weren't fully in tact and we had to fix it...so not to prevent any more glasses breaking. There is a nest of some sort of fly in the villa somewhere...might be worth finding it. Was difficult for us to find in our short stay. Minor things that can be tweaked and fixed. The stay was a treat!

Pros: We found it to be a lovely, well kept house. The location is convenient, with shops and restaurants close by. The property felt safe, with an alarm system in place, and the area was very quiet and peaceful. The house was clean and neat throughout, and the kitchen had all the necessary working amenities. The bedrooms were spacious, with comfortable sheets and pillows. The bathrooms were large and airy. Fans and air conditioning were provided, which was essential during the very hot days. The Wi Fi worked well, and the smart TV, was useful for rainy indoor days. The braai area was a great asset. The pool was clean and well lit for night swimming. Animals came to greet us near the pool, which was a memorable and unexpected experience.

Cons: Guests should note that the villa is fully self catering. There is no complimentary housekeeping or linen changes during the stay. The host kindly replaced our towels upon request, but future guests should plan to pack or purchase all necessary supplies for their trip- such as dishwasher tablets, bin packets and insect repellant. The in house suggestions for massages and game drives were on the pricey side, although guests are free to look around for options that suit their budget. My only structural suggestions would be to install bug or mosquito nets on the doors. At night, when the doors are open, insects can swarm indoors. A few mud trapping mats at the entrances would also be helpful during rainy weather, as storms can be quite intense. The provision of consumables could be improved.

Pros: The home is beautiful- it was clean., and nicely decorated. The outside dining area was really nice. Pool was very clean. The viewing deck was also nice..

Cons: Parking area could use a little more space for an SUV..
