A Rose Indeed

Pros: A quaint and comfortable house in the old style. Room and en suite was large and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was superb and we hardly had to eat for the rest of the day! Would certainly stay again.

Cons: The room was quite cold when we arrived and the meager 400W panel heater was not enough to make it comfortable. I would suggest heat pump aircons?

Pros: I had the most wonderful stay at Highland Rose Country House Spa. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. The atmosphere is tranquil and beautifully maintained, with charming gardens that make you feel as though you’ve stepped into a retreat away from the world. The rooms are elegant, spotless, and filled with thoughtful touches that make the stay extra special. Every detail seems carefully considered to ensure comfort and relaxation. Highland Rose Country House Spa is truly a hidden gem.

A Lovely, Comfortable Stay. Great Breakfast.

Pros: Thank you for a lovely stay. The bed was very comfortable, and despite the cold, the electric blanket was luxurious. I loved the morning breakfast by the fireplace, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Safe off-street and undercover parking. Little fridge is a nice bonus as well as the very hot showers.

Cons: It was a little difficult to find because the GPS was taking me in circle and the road quite bumpy for my little car, but it was close to town. Not much of a problem

Pros: It was clean the staff was excellent. Friendly. Breakfast was fantastic. Best omelet i ever had.

Cons: The double bed in the room. Was not comfortable. Think maybe new beds. Otherwise everything else was perfect

Pros: Please focus cleaning the ceiling due to spider webs

Pros: Place is really beautiful, staff are very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Very difficult to find the place and when trying to contact the number provided no answer.

Warm and cozy

Pros: The rooms were cosy and warm. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were so friendly.

Cons: There was alittle delay in checking in. But we kept ourselves busy

Really enjoyed our stay at Highlands, nice and quiet.

Pros: Breakfast was good. But would really like to have a choice between scramble or fried eggs and also one morning bacon and next morning maybe pork sausage.

My stay was peaceful and lovely.

Pros: The breakfast is as served in a simple yet tasteful manner. It was satisfying. Not too little and not too much. Breakfast was delicious.

Cons: There was nothing not to Like. The choices made for breakfast was good.

Pros: The owner and staff were very accomodating and helpfull.

Cons: The breakfast took very long to prepare.
