Amazing views that won't break the bank

Pros: Beautiful surroundings Room was very spacious & luxurious

it is my 4th or 5th time staying there, I will continue to do so whenever I am in the area.

Pros: Breakfast is great Value for money, location is spectacular.

Cons: nothing to complain about.

A great place to stop on the way to the North of the Kruger National Park.

Pros: 4.5 hours from OR Tambo. 15 mins from Louis Trichardt where it is possible to stock up with provisions if heading on to the Kruger National Park. Good sized room with a fridge freezer. Pleasant bar. Good food. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff and management.

Cons: All good.

One of the best accommodations in the Country

Pros: Everything. Clean Friendly staff Great Restaurant and facillities.

Beautiful nature escape … cute and cozy.

Pros: The cleaning stuff were very friendly and assisted new with settling in.

Cons: The gravel road leading to the lodge.

Pros: The tranquility of the area as well as the restaurant were both superb!!

Cons: Nothing really, the room we were given(room 6) was very close to reception so we could hear other guests from the wee hours of the morning

My ultimate stay at the Ultimate

Pros: What I enjoyed the most was the tranquility of the place, the staff were very much helpful and very friendly. We got what what booked for. Their room was comfortable and very spacious. I loved it.

Cons: What I didn't like was that, can they at least provide microwave for such rooms because we brought food from outside and they needed to be heated a bit. Apart from that all was well

Pros: We loved this hotel! The hosts were very accommodating and went out of their way to assist us. Facilities cater for all from families to couples. We will definitely stay over again!

Great comfortable place for families and friends for nipping in and out of whilst doing business

Pros: Very helpful management and staff and they had gone an extra length to put up tasteful Christmas decorations and made a big effort in their use of them so that it was quite noticeable

Cons: Few small acceptable issues like erratic water supply on last day linked to major power issues national grid

Going above & beyond!

Pros: Having broken down a few hundred metres from the hotel, we were blown away by manager Mario's willingness to help us out, even in the rain! Forever grateful. And his was just the first of many lovely interactions with the staff, all keen to help out and super friendly. Such a great location in the mountains, wish we had had longer than just one night.

Cons: Room 7 is perhaps not the best location for a family room, with the door open, the reception could get a clear view right into the bathroom & with our kids in & out of the room, it felt rather public. My folks had a lovely room tho (room 9), so if you can choose, go for that one. Some quirky features ☺️ The hotel would do well to offer a proper cup of coffee. Instant doesn't quite cut it.
