Lovely guest house with beautiful garden.

Pros: Attractive and very comfortable guest house on the eastern edge of Louis Trichardt with a lovely garden. Very friendly and helpful host.

Cons: Noisy dining room. Breakfast OK, but dinner was disappointing.

A hidden gem in Louis Trichardt

Pros: Delightful setting in a beautiful house. Our room upgrade was very unexpected, and was appreciated. The host staff are very pleasant, and Mark, Liz and Jeanette all made every effort at being welcoming. The gardens, bird life and views are terrific. Ideally positioned for road-transit. Meals provided were adequate, supported by a well stocked honours-bar.

Cons: Mark, you may like to consider 'kitchen noise' in the dining area - we found it disconcerting.

Beautiful surroundings and friendly host and staff. Lovely family room. More basic double room.

Pros: 2nd stay. My sisters shared a family room in the main house, which was lovely. Our room was more basic. The accommodation is sparkling clean. The garden is outstandingly beautiful. The meal was very good, particularly the oxtail, which was delicious. Portions are generous. Our host was very helpful with organizing power to our camping fridge.

Cons: Only one easy chair in the double room. It would be good to get a twin bed option. The double bed is small for a tall person

Pros: It was very comfortable, clean and the staff were so friendly. The house is absolutely beautiful. We loved the fact that we could braai for ourselves with supplied cutlery and crockery! Lovely experience.

Pros: Attention to detail - incredible Surroundings, peaceful. Excellent location. We had an excellent dinner, everything you need in one location - but still close enough to town. (although you feel you are miles away)

Little Paradise that offers great service and facilities.

Pros: The gardens surrounding the property is amazing. Very peaceful and quiet, just what the soul needs. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding and they even catered for us at last minutes notice. I felt welcome, enjoyed my surroundings and had amazing service, food and rooms. Thank you! Will definitely return when I’m in South Africa again.

Excellent stay for any travellers!

Pros: I always go back, as I love the location and lovely surroundings, beautiful garden, friendly staff and lovely food. Always a warm welcome when I arrive.

Cons: The bed in room 6 is a little bit hard. But otherwise, there is absolutely nothing to complain about.
