Highly recommend this intimate safari experience

Pros: The choice of food and its preparation were excellent. Aaron knew what we would need after an early or late game drive. He specialises in homemade bread and pastries. Yum.The lodge is small and intimate. Perfect for personalised game drives. It shares an unfenced border with Kruger NP. The animals roam free around the lodge. The accommodation was elegant and well-appointed. Sunday, our guide was very thoughtful and knowledgeable. It was very special that Aaron, Victoria and Sunday surprised us with a wedding anniversary dinner for two. The elephant loping around in the (near) background and the hyena watching, hoping for leftovers, just added to the authentic atmosphere!

Cons: We wouldn't have missed seeing the local leopard by 10 minutes, twice. Oh well.. Otherwise, it was a fabulous stay.

Fabulous! Amazing safari and a lovely stay at Nsala.

Pros: Fabulous place, comfortable, beautifully decorated, great food, friendly staff. Our safari guide Sunday was amazing, he exceeded our expectations, and did more than necessary to ensure we saw some lions on our last drive. Thoroughly recommend, wish we could have stayed longer. 😀

Great staff, great food, ok game drives.

Pros: All the staff was incredibly helpful. The food is great, and the location of the camp was amazing. Monkeys were part of our day to day while at Nsala, we were able to hear lions roar multiple mornings, and there was even an elephant that drank from the pool one night!

Cons: The game drives could improve. The guide is very knowledgeable, and he made the drives not only entertaining, but also a moment of learning. However, there was only one person to drive, look for the animals and avoid spider webs (and other obstacles), making it harder for him to find the hidden animals. If there was someone else along with him to help spot the wildlife, it would’ve been perfect.
