Exceptional Stay - A Hidden Gem in South Africa

Pros: Our stay at this country house was the perfect way to wrap up our visit to Kruger National Park. The location is incredibly convenient—only about a 10-minute drive to the airport, yet it feels like a world away in terms of peace and beauty. The atmosphere is stunning. We were greeted by a well-stocked wine cellar and minibar, which was such a thoughtful touch. Safety was a top priority for us, and we felt completely secure behind the double fencing. The kids were overjoyed with the pool and especially with Mavis, the lovely resident dog. One of our favorite memories will be watching the sunrise from the large swing the owners built on the cliff—a truly magical experience. Since our flight wasn't until the afternoon, the hosts were incredibly accommodating and let us stay longer. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Everything was seamless, and we will definitely be back if we have the chance!

Pros: The environment and scenery Thank you to Susan for her hospitality and care. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our privacy at the cottage (great surprise and gift as we booked for family room), grateful for the upgrade. The breakfast was very nice: fresh fruits every morning and delicious avocado. To Susan and staff, thank you for making our stay in White House memorable. I will definitely return!

Cons: It is almost hidden, I almost missed it, there should be a visible sign about 500m or šo before the main entrance. There was no carport for the car, maybe they should consider that in the future

Excellent and comfortable place to stay

Pros: The location was a little out of town beautifully situated on a hill. It is well fenced and secure. The owner was really kind and caring. The garden and pool were fantastic as were the bedrooms with a good sized TV, airco and comfort. It is also 11 min from the airport. The breakfast was as good. Outstanding to say the least.

Pros: I loved the property location, very close to Kruger National Park. The facilities and amenities were excellent and super clean. The property owners were very helpful in answering all our questions. I would certainly return to the White House Lodge on my next trip to Kruger!

Pros: Friendly hostess, spacious and comfortable room, beautiful and well-kept property, excellent wine available at honesty bar, adequate breakfast.
