Twiga Lodge Mabalingwe

Lovely private house in the bush. Had the giraffe pass the house. Communication from host was great.

Pros: The pool was nice for sitting in and watching nature.

The stay was great and would come again.

Pros: Mainly the facilities, ease of access of things and the serenity. Over and above service. Everything we could think of was there such as utensils, coffee machine, ice maker, bar fridge etc. Also we enjoyed the game drive and horse riding. We got to close proximity with the animals. You are the best. Wouldn't trade the experience for anything. Loved and loved it.

Pros: Beautiful and spacious house with everything you need, home away from home.

Wish we could stay longer. Staff was great, house is great and we had great visits from the ellies.

Pros: Main road not far from property, but overall experience made up for that.

Home amongst nature

Pros: Wow. This was just incredible. We saw Nyala, warthogs, an ostrich and when coming back from a night drive we came face to face with an elephant drinking from the water hole. This is such a special place. Comfortable, fantastic braai and boma area. We really couldn't fault it. Such great value for money and we've made memories that will last forever.

Exceptional bushveld oasis.

Pros: The host and all the support was exceptional. It's very private. We loved Twiga Lodge.

Pros: This lodge was amazing! First time doing a group holiday with friends and it was fantastic. We had Nyala come and visit us everyday :) Everythjng was perfect, there were 6 of us but there is room for 8. Not much else to say other than if you’re considering booking this place, just do it! Also loved the braai area, which we made use of everyday!

All in all a lovely stay - just need to fix a few things as mentioned above.

Pros: The house was as per pictures. Well stocked - even an ice machine which was super useful in the heat! The splash pool is very small - just enough for a small dip in and out.

Cons: We found that the water pressure in the showers was very low and almost came to a halt before a pump kicks in and the pressure picks up. Maybe guests should be told about that, as we originally thought there was no water!!. Also, our showerhead was leaking from the side and had to be replaced. The main bedroom door didn't close properly. When we called the handyman, he did help us and bought a new showerhead a day or two later. He said the bedroom door needs to be replaced and has been like that for a while. Also, the 2nd bedroom en suite bathroom door locked its self automatically from the inside and my daughter couldn't get in. This had also apparently also given problems before - i just feel the owners need to fix all the things that are broken before renting it out as these were all problems that had been reported before.

Really fantastic stay in a house that has everything you need.

Pros: The house is located not to far from the main gate, it has it own watering hole. It is quiet and has everything you need.

Pros: Everything about our stay was awesome, perfect getaway and very relaxing. Will definitely be back.
