Pros: The house is very modern, and the separate bedrooms huge and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped. We loved the frequent visits from a warthog family!

Cons: A big coffee plunger or machine would be nice. Basic supplies such as oil, salt, pepper, coffee, etc. would be great, as this was standard at all other self-catering homes during our visits.

Perfection location for our group of grandparents, parents and children

Pros: Everything you could possibly need. We took so much stuff that we didn’t need at all. Ivy and Thabo are a real asset, looking after us so well. Perfect location. Airocons so needed and appreciated. The house is perfect for “kuiering”, as rooms are separate from living area

Cons: Don’t really want to moan, seen as one is in the bush, but the WiFi is non existent. Made banking difficult (needed to pay for a game drive). The swimming pool has a leak, but didn’t impact our swimming at all

Pros: Very classy / excellent amenities. Everything you want in the middle of the bush with animals on the doorstep. Really enjoyed the stay!

We had a wonderful time with family and friends! The lodge is well maintained and spacious.

Pros: The lodge is spacious, beautiful, and private. The rooms are apart from the main house, allowing privacy. It is easy to access the Kruger National Park (30 min by car) via the Malelane gate (no direct access). One can also have a walk in the residential area, and there is a beautiful lookout point at the river. The game drive offered by Mjejane is also worthwhile, particularly the views along the river. Make a reservation in advance to secure availability. It is a tranquil place where one can relax and enjoy the stupendous surroundings. I was awakened at night by the sounds of roaring lions and saw many more animals walking past the fence in front of the patio and boma. The host, Eric, is always available on WA and responds quickly.

Cons: There is only 1 double fridge/freezer, and for 10 people, the fridge space was limited. I would recommend adding another fridge for beverages/drinks. The rooms are spacious but a bit empty, and could be made more homely by adding bigger carpets and decorations. There are sufficient cupboards.

Pros: The location in a private reserve, the incredible house with independent rooms, animals around, …everything! We had a funny moment with monkeys trying to steal our breakfast.

Highly recommended for families or groups looking for an unforgettable safari experience

Pros: The host, Eric, was incredibly responsive and helpful from the moment we booked right through our stay. The game drives were well organised, and our guide, Oscar, was fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly, and full of interesting insights about the wildlife and the reserve. Mjejane itself is great, this our second time visiting the park as a family and we are already making plans to return. The setting along the Crocodile River is just amazing.

Cons: Nothing. However one thing to note for families with very young children is that, while the five ensuite bedrooms are spacious, well-equipped, and beautifully appointed, they are not interlinking. Each room has its own separate entrance from the outside, which offers great privacy but may be something to consider if you're travelling with little ones who need to be close by at night.

Pros: The pictures do not do justice to the lodge, it is tranquil, inviting, homely, very well equipped, clean. The lodge is modern, but the rooms are so just so impressive and comfortable. You really don't want to leave. Our stay was too short.

Cons: Our Stay was too short too absorb this beautiful lodge home :-(

Pros: Rooms great, have aircon, beds very comfortable, lodge well kitted

Cons: Main area needs aircon, especially that you have to keep the windows closed because of the monkeys. Cooler box for game drives would be good addition.

Pros: The actual house(kitchen area and lounge),is spacious, modern, well-equipped , has everything you might need to prepare breakfast, supper and dinner., and the rooms were comfortable and clean.

Cons: For a 10 people house accommodation the pool is too small.

Gorgeous bush stay, perfect location, lovely facilities

Pros: The property is actually more beautiful in person than in the pictures. The location on Mjejane is secluded and away from the hustle. There are many animals plodding through the garden and outside the fence, which we loved. The outdoor showers were a highlight, especially on hot nights.
