Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, relaxed, good sized comfortable room.

Cons: No internet for most of time there. No or very limited choice of wine. Good choice of main courses for dinner but no starters and limited choice of puddings..

Relaxing, quiet, huge rooms, hospitable staff.

Pros: I’ve stayed here regularly over the years and love the lodge for the amazing staff, clean rooms, beautiful garden and great food. It’s not five stars, but it doesn’t sell itself to be. And the trade off is you have a great location by the airport, where you can stretch you legs, that’s quiet and relaxing.

Cons: I did not not like the honesty bar (as in, I loved the honesty bar). Nothing to not like.

Great location and value for money. Clean, comfortable place to stay.

Pros: Really good value for money, clean comfy room, helpful and friendly staff, honour system for drinks works well. You order dinner in advance and it is freshly prepared for you. Good location for airport without paying airport hotel prices. Would definitely stay here again if near Johannesburg airport
