A fantastic family holiday venue!

Pros: We were three families together for a Christmas stay, 11 people in total. There was more than plenty space and comfort for us all. My personal highlights were the spectacular location and view, the way the kitchen was so well appointed with plenty of everything, the crisp linen, the friendly staff who came and serviced the house to make our stay relaxing, and the beautiful game drive between the road and the house. We all loved Amberley!

Pros: An absolute beautiful experience views for days. The staff always available and very helpful. Exceptional service from them

Cons: We were in the dark for a good 14hours without electricity and there wasn't any back up generator. Our cellphones not charged couldn't comminute with people back at home for all those hours. That was the only negative

Highly recommended

Pros: We enjoyed the space, the scenery and privacy. We enjoyed the cool evenings with the lit fireplaces. Listening to the calls of the animals at night and early in the morning is an immersive experience. The beauty and tranquility makes you feel like you are in another world. The contrast of dark clouds and mist looming over trout dams, green grass with buck and wildebeest grazing in the distance, creates a stunning and serene atmosphere. The house is well equipped and spacious. Everything is in working order with good water pressure in the showers, sufficient lighting and wifi access. We liked that our dogs could come with us. The staff are friendly and their service was excellent.

Cons: Leaving Amberley Mountain Lodge to get back to reality and the real world.

Pros: The staff are lovely, inviting and so helpful, they ensured that we were comfortable and well looked after. The house has a lot of space especially with 2 little boys wanting to play, there was amble space for everyone. The fishing dams were lovely and the property is lovely to hike.
