The perfect luxury safari experience
Pros: This was truly the best holiday experience we‘ve ever had. Collins and Collen were amazing and very experienced guides. Maputo was very kind and did an immaculate job as housekeeping! The food was also perfect and we saw all the big five within the first day! We also received a complimentary room upgrade, probably due to our honeymoon. We are very grateful and will return in future!
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect.

Amazing - exceeding the expectations
Pros: The guide ( driver ) was fantastic. Room spacious and clean and aesthetically pleasing . Food very nice.

Pros: Woowwww!!!! The best place ever! The best days that we had in South Africa. Amazing room, the food was incredible. Everything was absolutely perfect. I can’t even explain how much we enjoyed and loved the atmosphere and the food and the employees

Pros: Everything was absolutely perfect — worth every single penny. The all-inclusive food was delicious. The safari, with the trackers and drivers, was perfect. And the room was so comfortable. I miss the experience every single day.

Pros: Kapama River Lodge is simply incredible. The best accommodation I've ever stayed in. Everything was amazing, from the beautiful structure to the food and staff. All meals are à la carte and of the highest quality. There are many drinks of various types included in the all-inclusive system, and no surprise charges. All the staff provide impeccable service, with a dedicated waiter assigned to you throughout your stay, who remembers your tastes and preferences as early as the second day. The safaris were incredible. Our ranger, Katt, didn't rest until he found all of the Big Five with us. He is simply wonderful, very attentive and dedicated to his job.
Cons: Absolutely nothing to complain about, just to point out that the daily rate is considerably high, but if you can afford it, it's accommodation that's really worth it.

Pros: A beautiful lodge in a perfect location close to Hoedspruit airport with around a 15 minute drive to the lodge. We saw elephants, zebras, a rhino, a giraffe and 3 lions on the drive in! The dining experience was amazing with a different menu daily and staff addressed me by name, and the included 2 games drives per day were guided by an excellent guide and tracker, we saw all the ‘Big 5’ plus many more.
Cons: Nothing. Kapama River lodge have thought of everything.

Unforgettable Safari Experience with Amazing Guides and Delicious Food
Pros: We would like to extend a big thank you to Michael and Witness for our incredible game drives! We were lucky enough to see the Big Five already on our very first drive, which made the experience absolutely unforgettable. Both Michael and Witness were extremely kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely motivated to help us spot as many animals as possible. They created such a fun and welcoming atmosphere in the car that every drive felt like an adventure shared with friends. Another highlight of our stay was definitely the amazing food – every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of variety. Combined with the wonderful hospitality, this made our time here truly special. We can’t thank the team enough for making our safari experience so memorable – we’ll cherish these moments forever!

Amazing game drive at Kapama
Pros: The safari trip with Kapama River Lodge was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. We were lucky enough to see all big 5 with 2 night stay, as well as many elephants, giraffes, impalas…The guides were respectful, keeping a comfortable distance from the animals. I really appreciated that the experience was centered around ethical wildlife viewing rather than chasing sightings. Huge thanks to our guides Anzi and Michael for the game drive, Philipe and the other gentleman(sorry didn’t catch his name) for the bush walk were incredibly knowledgeable. The lodge itself was stunning. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully designed. You can see small wild animals like Kudu, impala from the balcony.
Cons: The serving time is extremely long. We waited for almost 20min for the dessert. The egg royal was very sour.
