Kapama Southern Camp is situated in the greater Kruger Park area within the Kapama Private Game Reserve. Brilliant stay in magnificent eco friendly surrounding with friendly staff, great food and drinks and top it all saw the

Pros: Location to the airport. Beautiful decor, eco friendly and outstanding staff. Wonderful to see the Rhinos with their horns. Safe to walk around the accommodation. Drinks included and great selection of quality wines. Delicious choice of food.

Cons: Lack of off road game viewing even though we got to view the Big 5.

Unreal experience and a MUST DO

Pros: The food, the service, the atmosphere the whole experience was everything we dreamed off and more

Cons: The price is a little steep. £1,700 per night is a lot of money then tips on top but it was a trip of a lifetime.

Awestruck

Pros: We loved everything about this property! We were upgraded to the Villa with the pool and felt so special. The property is amazing with wildlife moving within, beautiful meals and staff, every need catered for. The safaris were spectacular and we saw the big 5 in the first two safaris. Most importantly was the service provided by our Guide and Tracker - Carlos and Petrus - these guys were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and supportive. They made the whole experience outstanding.

Extraordinary trip, we couldn’t recommend Kapama enough!

Pros: The property was modern, welcoming and beautiful. We loved spending time in the pool. And the hang out spots (bar, restaurant, Boma) were all beautiful.

Cons: Nothing. We couldn’t rate it more highly

Fabulous! Can’t wait to go back.

Pros: Excellent food, fabulous wildlife and nature, excellent experience. The staff were wonderful and there was meticulous attention to detail to ensure each guest had a great stay.

Cons: The spa was at a different location but it really didn’t matter as the staff organised a private driver to take me there and back, so it worked out fine.

Lovely - just lovely

Pros: All meals were excellent, the game drives were superb and the personal attention by staff allocated to us was super. However the first haldf we had to share the game drives with another couple - it was far better when we could go on our own later in the stay

Great choice for value on safari

Pros: Southern Camp is a good choice for comfort and all the usual features expected of a safari lodge. Grounds were beautiful. Food was excellent.

Cons: I thought I was getting the better suite and was surprised to find out that I had not booked it. The drives could have been a bit more informative. A few things in my room were not in best repair, e.g., sliding door to bathroom did not fully close.
