Best place to overnight when commuting to or from Mozambique.

Pros: Awesome hospitality, the best river view from a pristine swimming pool, location is superb for travels into Mozambique.

Cons: Nothing to not like, its great!

Breathtaking views!

Pros: It's always great to be treated with such friendliness at reception after a long day's drive. The highlight of our one-night stay was the view over the river, while enjoying a drink in the bar. The young barman was very friendly and provided us with so many tales and interesting facts about the activities available at the lodge and surrounds. We will go again. The size of our accommodation was a surprise. Bigger than we thought. Next time we'll bring friends. The cleanliness was ok.

Can´t wait to be back

Pros: Stayed overnight again. Fantastic location. The flood thwarted our tigerfish fishing plans this time.That´s just nature,nobody can do anything about it. Or rather,it´s a reason to come back

We will definitely be back!

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff that went the extra mile for us. Thank you Nick and Dyllan. They really made us feel at home. The food was delicious, hats off to Moses. The rooms are amazing and cosy, and the facilities were stunning. The view from the bar and pool is epic! Situated on the Komati river, offering Tiger fishing and a variety of wildlife. A stone throw away from the Lebombo border, and a short drive from Kruger Park.

Cons: Absolutely nothing.

The stay was very good, I don't have any complains.

Pros: I don't buy anything for breakfast, it was very simple to locate it.

Cons: The swimming and the view of Komati river it was nice, their rooms inside are very beautiful and it is quiet.

Pros: The staff and the manager were friendly and very accommodating. Fantastic service.

Cons: The location of the lodge is next to the railway, we found it very noisy especially at night when trying to sleep. There is alot of repair work that needs to be done, they are slowly busy with upgrades which is good. The lodge has a lot of potential. Attention to detail.

Pros: We love sleeping over at River Hill Lodge before crossing the border to Mozambique. There is lots of space for vehicles with trailers. The chalets is spacious and clean and very comfy. The food is amazing.

Cons: There is nothing not to like.
