Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge

Set in a private concession within the Kruger National Park, this 5-star lodge features luxury suites built in the shape of beehives. The circular timber decks offer views of the waterhole and surrounding plains, and feature a firepit. Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge is decorated in earthy colours with locally-sourced fabrics. Each air-conditioned rondavel suite has a private deck and a stone bathtub. Romantic hideaway in the middle of Kruger Nationalpark

Pros: Location of course amazing, very friendly employees, yummy food, amazing game drives, felt very luxurious

Cons: Service was very friendly but not the most competent, meals were a little chaotic at times; wifi was quite bad

Beautiful and comfortable lodge in Kruger National Park with amazing staff and safari guide

Pros: The lodge is inside Kruger National Park, which means that you can sight animals (like elephants) at night whilst having dinner. Everything, from the room to the communal terrace and swimming pool, was amazing. The staff was so welcoming and amiable. The food was delicious and plentiful (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Our safari guide was extremely knowledgeable and our excursions in the park very memorable. I would love to stay there again!

Simply perfect!

Pros: The location in the park is perfect. The daily game drives where very exciting. Our guide Clement knew where to go to for spotting and explained a lot about the observations. The camp is simply marvelous. All people are super friendly and attentive. The food and traditional Braai was very delicious and the Leopard showing up at the water hole simply magnificent.

Cons: Too short stay.

Incredible time spent, amazing people

Pros: It was really big, tidy and had everything you’d want or need. Fully equipped with a massive bed, bathtub and outdoor shower, this room made our stay extremely relaxing.

You can't go past this safari lodge

Pros: This beautiful safari lodge was everything it promised. The staff were super friendly and engaging, the accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable, and the food and drinks were plentiful and delicious. The game drives were among the best I have experienced, with sighting of all the Big 5 over 3 days, some animals multiple times.

Cons: Everything was great.

Pros: The staff is magical and the setting heavenly. The food and attention to detail and making sure you enjoy yourself was 5 star! Suitboy is a 7-star ranger and his trips and friendliness moved my heart.

Extraordinary African bush experience

Pros: We loved everything about our three night stay at this this lodge: The unique and rustic style of the architecture. The location of the lodge amongst huge trees and next to a watering hole where we saw giraffe, hyena, even lions (yes it is true) came to drink. The meals which were of a consistently high standard. The attentive, hospitable staff. The early morning and late afternoon game drives with knowledgeable guide Andrew. See photos of some of our sightings… The spacious room with porch overlooking the bush. Quality bedding.
