Pros: One of the best experience of my life. Food was amazing, staff and service excelent. Safari Guides awesome, George and Gabriel exiplained us everything about Savana and animals, we spotted all the Big 5 with in a proper Safari way. Really reccomended.

Excellent tented camp!

Pros: Not our first time in the Karongwe reserve, but our first time at Chisomo. Fully tarred road from Hoedspruit to Karongwe and then only 15-20 minutes from the gate to the camp. This is an excellent tented camp, with lots of thought going into their tents. We even had electric blankets on the bed and hot water bottles on game drive (May). The tent was so comfortable, housekeeping is excellent. We could charge equipment in our rooms, wifi was excellent and streaming easy. Very impressive! The food was all buffet style but of great quality. No complaints. Staff were friendly and service was great. Game drives have never dissapointed here and this trip was no different. With the skills of Polly and Eddie over 4 drives we had 3 leopard sightings, lion on kill sighting, cheetah on kill, rhino and the very special cheetah on foot. We were so impressed, we booked again for next weekend.

Cons: Not much to dislike! The towels were a little thin and some exit directional signage on the backs of the entry signage would be nice. One thing to note is that a couple of the guides told us they only go off road for lions. Considering you pay a premium for a private reserve for the ability to go off road, this isn't ideal. It didn't seem to lessen our safari experience, but if it did in future drives, it would make us reconsider this reserve over reserves that go off road for all cats and wild dogs.

Tranquility!

Pros: It was my first time in a safari tent and I love it. It was an amazing experience. Friendly staff. The food was delicious. The stay made an effort to make gluten-free food for me. Thank you to all the admin and cooking staff The game drives were mazing! We were able to see the big five. Thank you to our Ranger and Tracker, Evans and Sondy. The location is perfect.

Pros: Glamping tent units were so nice and spacious. Such a cool experience. Guided safaris were great as well and saw so many animals UP CLOSE. Everything was on schedule. Food was fantastic with a huge variety. We never went hungry. Staff were wonderful and wish we had more time to chat with them and other guests.

Cons: Can be chilly at night even with the heater. And chilly mornings so warm clothes is recommended. Wish we had a boma dinner and saw lions...but that's nature! We loved it.

Pros: Tout ! Le lodge est dans la réserve, très bien équipé, les couvertures chauffantes sont un délice par nuits froides , tout est fait pour que le séjour se passe au mieux, les safaris sont incroyables , un grand merci aux guides Bethel and Ludwig Félicitations aux cuisinières car les repas étaient délicieux, les dîners au coin du feu aussi Toute l'équipe est aux petits soins, prévenants et très gentils Un merveileux séjour en famille !

Espetacular!

Pros: Gostei de absolutamente tudo, os detalhes, a receptividade do staff, o conforto das cabanas, a gastronomia maravilhosa. Fiquei realmente encantada. Não poderia deixar de mencionar os rangers Polly e Eddy que não mediram esforços para que conseguíssemos ver os big 5 e muitos outros animais. Foi incrível!
