From the warm, genuine hospitality to the attention to every little detail, the experience felt both personal and unforgettable. The setting, the atmosphere, and the passion they pour into what they do truly make this a one-of-a-kind getaway. We left feeling relaxed, inspired, and already planning our return. Amazing

Pros: Just about an hour and a half away from Johannesburg, we had a wonderful stay at Out of Africa. My Wife and I visited this lodge for our 5 year anniversary. If you book in advance, you can enjoy a fine dining experience on a Rovos Rail train carriage that's on the property. The hosts Monique and Ludger went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this lodge if you want to escape the busy city life for a nice and relaxing holiday.

A must have experience for every couple looking for a proper get away

Pros: We enjoyed the feel of freedom and relaxation that out in africa gave us, the decoration and treatment from the owners made us feel like we are on a safari in the 1900's with the best experience one could ask for. The food took us out of our own country on a trip into a new world, the dinner, dress up and sitting down gives you the escape of modern day stress and the invitation to luxury everyone must experience.

An Authentic Bush Experience with Amazing Hosts

Pros: The experience was unique and enjoyable. We appreciated the beautiful setting and arrangements, which improved our overall experience. The main lodge area is stunning, with an incredible Rovos Rail carriage serving as a restaurant and a unique and interesting lounge and bar area. The tents are well-decorated and very comfortable. Patrons must remember the theme of a bush camp set over 100 years ago, so there is no electricity in the tents, and everything is via candles and solar - but it makes for a fantastic setting. The hosts are incredible, and we enjoyed our 5-course meal at the Injabulo Restaurant, where our hosts explained each dish in detail.

Cons: We would like to have access to our Vehicle, but it is not a problem to get a lift when needed.
