Pros: Everything was on point. Great facilities, great staff members. Everyone was just friendly . A breathe of fresh air.

Restful stay

Pros: We loved everything. The location is lovely. There are daily activities planned. Most of the staff are amazing and super friendly . The chalet is so clean , big and comfy.

Cons: The take away food and staff were not very good. Their milkshakes were lovely tho. I'd also recommend a shower curtain or shower door for the 2nd bathroom

Pros: Clean facilities, wild animals and entertainment area.

A very nice bush break, a mere 95 kms from Western Joburg

Pros: Large chalet, but cramped bathroom. Excellent, well-kept entry roadway and very neat grounds around the swimming pool area. Staff were friendly. A real bonus was the availability of air-conditioners, top marks for this as so many places think a ceiling fan is good enough (it isn't in the hot summer months). The layout of the chalets is nicely done in the bush but keep in mind that they are semi-detached units, although one is not generally aware of next door neighbours. Swimming pool and grounds around it are very pleasant. Large chess and checkers boards are available as well along with kid's play apparatus.

Cons: Our chalet, RB3, is entered by 7 steep steps, as most of the other chalets as well. This needs to be mentioned on the website for people who may have mobility or leg weakness problems. Not easy to see animals unless you take a game drive (I suppose, because we did not do a game drive). Badly designed lighting in the main bedroom, on off switch is not at the bed and the lights were weak. We had to ask for a bedside lamp and there was only one electrical socket available for the bed, Equally, lighting in the lounge dining room area is dim. One chair at least should be provided for the bedroom, useful to place clothing and for putting on shoes. Only a simple, backless stool is provided. Patio roof leaked badly during rain.

Fun weekend stay

Pros: The activities they had everyday was a bonus and how the staff interact with the guests was exceptional. I also liked how we didn't have to leave the lodge during our entire stay because of their game room, activities and facilities to use.

Cons: During our game drive it started raining and the vehicle shelter was not waterproof so we got wet and was with the child so we didn't enjoy the drive anymore so would recommend for the car to have waterproof shelter for such weather and for the resort to have a heated pool for gloomy weather's we couldn't swim because of the weather. And one pool for a resort is not enough

Love, love, love!

Pros: The resort is super relaxing and just such a nice refresh from city life. Plenty to do for the little kiddies, a stunning pool area. Fantastic animal life. My 3rd time there and I'll definitely be back for more.

Cons: That my stay wasn't longer... lol

Pros: Activities were for both kids and adults. The place is quite and beautiful

Cons: We were not supplied with tea, coffee and sugar, another issue is not placing hand soap regularly.

Pros: Location was close. Restaurants and game drive were reasonably priced. Swimming pool and roomd were well maintained

We had a good rest at an excellent resort. The food and the game drive was awesome.

Pros: The game drive was fabulous. Lazarus is an excellent guide. Food was very nice in the restaurant.

One of the best breaks ever!

Pros: What an awesome experience! One of the best resorts that we've ever stayed in over the last 20 years. Facilities outstanding and very reasonably priced. Thank you to the staff and management for an awesome break.
