Dunkeld Country & Equestrian Estate

A great break away, quite and peaceful .

Pros: Overall, me and my wife had a great stay. The facilities and all other amenities were exceptional.

Cons: Maybe a chair in the room for someone who would like to work on the computer would help.

We would return for a longer stay but would double check that we are in the equestrian estate.

Pros: The accommodation at the Equestrian estate was very nice and clean even though it was a 2 bedroom and not the Villa we had booked. We booked a 3-bedroom villa. Unfortunately, we were split up as a family, but the hotel did compensate us with a meal, and this was very much appreciated. The restaurant was very nice, and the staff were very apologetic and did what they could to rectify the issue and offer us good service.

Cons: Unfortunately, the accommodation at the dam where 2 of our group stayed, was firstly very far from the rest of us, they are like two different venues completely. It was also very dark in the room, some of the towels were not clean (we did ask for new ones) and it was dusty. The staircase in the chalet is very steep so not suitable for everyone. They may have not had it ready as it was not supposed to be our room as we had booked and paid for a 3-bedroom villa for the one night.

Pros: The place is amazing, very quite just what I wanted for a weekend.

Cons: Our chalet wasn't so clean on the day of check in we found a lot of hair on the couch.

I had an amazing time, beautiful views and surroundings.

Pros: I liked everything about it, very clean and comfortable

All in all it was an amazing stay!!

Pros: The surroundings were amazing and the cleanliness of the estate was stunning! Especially enjoyed the animals. The staff were super friendly and helpfull

Cons: The chalet needs slight attention. Bathrooms were amazing and beautiful. The bed was not all that comfortable and the hedding needs a slight upgrade

Pros: An absolute surprise. Such a lovely place with incredible facilities. If you go to Dulstroom this is certainly a place to visit

Pros: The place is sooo beautiful. Stunning. Gorgeous. Breath-taking. The food at the restaurant was also good.

Cons: There was a pungent smell in the room. I'm not sure if it was cleaning chemicals or something else, but very overwhelming. I didn't want to report it incase they wanted to move me to another room. My view at that room was something I DID NOT WANT to let go of.

Pros: Hi i liked the environment and relaxing atmosphere will definitelty again

Cons: wifi should be in place in unit not only in public areas other than that everything is great and try to manage to put full dstv in unit but the stay was out if this world

Pros: The peace around the place, the staff from the gate till the reception are so motivated

Cons: Nothing, i was impressed

Pros: The breakfast was nice but I felt like they options of food were limited and that they can do better.

Cons: The breakfast could have been better.
