Kattekwaad Accommodation

Pros: The room was beautiful and very comfortable! Everything you needed was there.... The host and his wife is amazing, very friendly and helpful!

Cons: We liked everything.....

Quiet and relaxing. Great hikes are available.

Pros: We liked the accommodation that we got as it matched our requirements to the T. The lodge is central in the town. Very neat and well maintained. Very friendly owners - Thank you Chris & Lulu.

Cons: The latter part of the afternoon was wet and raining. Everything else was great.

We are so thankful for Chris who still accommodated us during a difficult time for him and Lulu (she can be proud of him

Pros: Beautiful view, quaint atmosphere. Loved the two balconies where we could sit and relax, looking at birds and viewing the town). Shower AND bath available, which suited our preferences 😀

Pros: Kattekwaad, the house which we stayed at was amazing. The uncle and aunty who run the place were extremely friendly and helpful, along with the accommodation itself being great. There is a patio outside to sit on and the inside is relatively big with beautiful rooms and bathrooms. It’s got a very antique vibe and also comfortable with the nature around you. Just around the corner is a beautiful hike up the mountain. Definitely a great experience

Cons: There is also a cat giving free cuddles if you want 😂❤️

It was good. Would have liked to extend our stay, but couldn't due to work commitments.

Pros: Cooperation & friendliness of owners. Especially assisting my wife that walks with two crutches.

Cons: There was no indication that the place was on the second floor.

Pros: The room was delightful. We were given a very warm welcome. Everything worked perfectly. We even got chocolate eggs.

Cons: It was difficult to block out noises from other people. It wasn't a major problem but needs to be noted.

We enjoyed our stay with the very friendly owners Lulu and Chris and the beautiful cat, Katja.

Pros: Kattewaad has a very central location and within walking distance from restaurants and activities.

We enjoyed the peaceful environment, visited tourist attractions nearby, also Kruger National Park.

Pros: A spacious bedroom with full en suite bathroom. Kattekwaad is well located in Kaapsehoop and within walking distance of tourist attractions. Walking trails in the conservation area lead to spectacular views over the Lowveld. Excellent hospitality.

Very cosy and comfortable

Pros: Cosy, comfortable self contained unit with beautiful view over Kaapsehoop. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Lovely walks nearby.
