Nice place to stay

Pros: We had a nice stay at Shik shack backpackers. The room are original, we stayed in a hut and it was really cool! It is a perfect place for backpackers who want to do a stop on their way to Kruger park. It is as well the occasion to discover the Nourish Eco village in which the shik shack is located. This organisation takes care of kids and young people to help them and make the more aware about the environment. It was a really nice discovery.

Wonderful stay, highly recommended

Pros: Amazing people, great community. It was amazing to wake up on the morning by sound of nature. Place is clean and safe, owners are very kind and welcoming.

It was amazing, I will go back again.

Pros: The property is so clean, the workers are friendly and communicate well when you need assistance.It is located in the main road, easy to find. Perfect to host a small event with family and friends.

Cons: Some off the signage need to be repainted.

Tranquil little place in the bush

Pros: Reasonably priced and sweet place on the edge of the village and the bush. Helpful staff and generally good vibe. Especially the manager Will, who will go above and beyond to ensure the comfort of the guests. Very good location being close to both Hoedspruit and the Kruger.
