A wonderful place to stay

Pros: A wonderful place to stay with superb garden along the Blyde River. The houses are wonderfully designed with a very tasteful interior. An ideal place stay if you want to discover the Blyde River dam and surroundings.

Cons: Not a negative point but there restaurant is not open in the evening. Instead you can order dishes for the microwave oven or food for you to braai. We did the braai twice and the meat and vegetables delivered were excellent. Wood for the braai is also delivered but as non South African citizens we had some trouble to get the fire started. We advice non ZA citizens to bring also some charcoal 🫣. Having a braai with a view on the Blyde river en the garden is just wonderful.

Pros: The place was exactly as on the pictures. we loved our stay and if given a chance; we'd go visit again. My other son keeps saying Mommy lets go back to our mountain house. :) was a magical place

Fantastic and so close to Blyde Canyon for the boat cruise !!

Pros: Great communication on where to find it ! Corinne was super helpful and hospitalitable this always can make a stay a great one! Lush gardens and in under 10min you are at Blyde river boat canyon

Cons: The bed unfortunately was not too comfortable and not having a double bed and only having 2 singles

Exceptional

Pros: I liked Everything about the facility and the stuff was exceptional. It was our second time staying at Maholoholo and we will definitely come back again. I forgot my smart watch and Corinne offered to courier it for me. I like that they provide wood, their breakfast was also good. My family like Maholoholo ya mati. It's quite and the facilities were clean. In the morning the pool was dirty and it was cleaned a few minutes afterwards.

Pros: The place is quiet next to the river, a good place to relax, they even offer a wood their fridge was also having 3 packs of ice cubes, staff is very friendly, they even advised us to go to rehabilitation centre which my family enjoyed it, their breakfast was great and it was changed daily, the chalet Otter was very clean with all equipment in the kitchen, we really loved the place we will visit again
