Perfect stay place for a peaceful stay cation away from the city.

Pros: The location is perfect for a much needed escape away from the city noise.

Cons: The apartment is clean and very spacious for a family or a group of friends. I also liked the fact that everything is completely off grid.

Pros: This place is by far one of the best I have been. When it comes to seeking a place of peace and tranquillity this is it.

Cons: No power plugs however it turned out to be a blessing (do have a usb point for phone charging) I will recommend a battery operated fan for the hot seasons

Pros: Ukutula Resort is beautiful. Liana kept in contact with us regularly. Absolutely no wifi or cell signal, no electronics - all gas powered so if you want to disappear in a calm, nature filled environment this is the place to go. The cottages have a lovely veranda, fire pit and braai - wood stacked up. The dam is beautiful, right on our doorstep. Speak to Liana about the road conditions going down beforehand. After heavy rains, may be a little tricky depending on your vehicle but well worth it!

Pros: The natural scenery and breath of a fresh air. The hosts were helpful, friendly with the best hospitality. Needed for recollecting yourself.

Cons: Please make sure you drive a SUV or 4x4 of which the host highlighted when confirming the booking. The rooms needs ceiling for privacy.

Pros: The route to the resort is so much fun! It is quite tough after the rain but with a 4x4 it is worth every minute. The unit is beautiful inside and has a very nice fireplace as well as an equipped kitchen. Exceptional views! Plenty of picnic spots as well around the dams. Lack of signal on the farm, offers a completely off the grid experience which we loved. But if signal is needed there is a spot where you can make calls. Great fishing and the host is very friendly and helpful. Easy to make any arrangements with him.
