Pros: The staff 110%, the Breakfast was nice 👌. Location 100% especially for what we came for.

Cons: I cannot think of anything that needs improvement. We were served very well, we were very comfortable and we would certainly recommend the stay to anyone looking for Lydenburg based accommodation. Bonus points that it's near the school that hosted the event we attended.

Traditional great hospitality in Lydenburg

Pros: Beautiful traditional South African farm house with amazing garden, very friendly staff and great food. A real gem in the older part of Lydenburg town.

Cons: We felt secure inside the property, but the atmosphere in Lydenburg is a bit strange. Once a bustling tourist town, it’s now less and less maintained. You can’t walk around the suburbs like unfortunately many towns in RSA. This accommodation is highly suitable for business travel, but less so for families with young children. You have to select your itinerary carefully to the venue via Viljoen street.

Left for work early in the morning but they already pack breakfast for husband! Great.

Pros: All good, accommodate me for an extra night without a problem.

Lydenburg gem

Pros: Atmospheric main building dating from 1925. Nice Spacey rooms, safe place, great dinner. Ideal place to explore the province and get to Reserves in the neighbourhood.

Pros: Love the historical value of the property. Staff were very friendly, kind. Room was clean and had everything I needed.

Fit for purpose - overnight en route

Pros: It was fit for purpose, only issue was the room had a double bed that could not be split so we had to share a bed lol We were the laughing stock back at the office lol

good place to stay on a trip from Joburg to Krüger.

Pros: very quiet and nice place, nice and spacious room. We were happy to get some dinner at night but felt a little bit lost at the only table we just stayed there one night, it was obviously one of the better places to stay on the middle of nowhere
