Exceptional 3 night stay in this beautiful cottage - highly recommended!

Pros: I had the most wonderful 3 night stay at iMbamuweti cottage! The cottage was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything I could possibly need as I was self-catering. The location was perfect—peaceful, idyllic and wildlife walking literally outside the fence. As hosts, Mike and Laura were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring I had everything I needed. The attention to detail was evident throughout the cottage and I especially loved relaxing in the private garden next to the splash pool. The cottage was cleaned daily, and a fire made up for me outside each day. Game drives were organised through the main lodge and I did two of these in the afternoons and had incredible sightings with very experienced and knowledgeable guides. I will definitely return and stay for longer next time. I highly recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone looking to relax and take in the sights and sounds of the African bush.

Pros: Haardus was an excellent host! He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the bush. He was also extremely informative. The property was superb and surpassed our expectations! I would love to return in the future! The kitchen was fully stocked and the property was very clean. No bugs or insects in early July either.

Cons: It is a long drive to enter the property (about 30 minutes). My family and I enjoyed this, though you should be prepared to drive on dirt roads and have a car equip for this terrain. We loved this part of the experience, though it may not be for everyone!

Pros: Really amazing place to stay. Will be back. Everybody very friendly and informative.

Cons: I sleep with a sleep apnea machine and load shedding made it difficult to sleep. This is a problem throughout South Africa.

Pros: The cottage was easy to find . I was welcomed by Laura , who showed me where to park under a sheltered bay joined to the property. it had everything you need WiFi , TV and all of the equipment needed for the kitchen. The bed was incredibly comfortable and there was even a little private plunge pool! I really loved the decor and the shower was divine!

Cons: There is nothing I didn’t like .

Pros: The pool was the best. Game drive was the highlight of our stay. Mike and Laura are the best host always going out of their way to make your stay the best. They make leaving so difficult as you bond with them and the place immediately. The elephants visit the other morning was just a bliss, My family loved everything.

Pros: Such a quiet place to reconnect with nature and appreciate the wildlife around.

Pros: Nous avons passé 2 jours très agréable. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Mike L'hébergement est une maison au milieu du bush équipée de tout le nécessaire, les animaux se promènent autour, les elephants viennent boire dans la piscine Tout etait parfait Nous serions bien restés quelques jours de plus.

Pros: Hôte très sympathique et accueil au top! Cottage très agréable et tout confort au milieu de la réserve qui permet d’être en totale immersion. Présence d’un lion par ses rugissements près du cottage pendant notre soirée ce qui a rendu l’expérience exceptionnelle :)

Pros: The cottaqe is very cute, and was as described. The owner and caretaker / guide were terrific. The game drives were a lot of fun. It was a fully immersive experience for us, Elephants everywhere, herds walking around the cottage, Giraffe's stopped by, lots of Impalas, we didn't see the Lions strolling around the cottage but did see them while driving in and out of the reserve. I'd highly recommend!

Mooiste plekje om te verblijven in een wildpark!!

Pros: Prachtige locatie, oase van rust en letterlijk tussen de wilde dieren! Olifanten liepen langs ons hekje!! Gamedrive gedaan met gids Hardus! Super gaaf! Wat is Hardus een enthousiaste gids en liet ons fantastische dieren zien!! 3 van de big 5 gespot op een avond! Ook nog een bush walk gedaan met ranger Eugene, geregeld door Mike, adembenemend, wetende dat je elk moment een leeuw, luipaard, hyena of olifant tegen zou kunnen komen!! Wij stonden oog in oog met een kudde olifanten!! Zooooo mooi! Beste locatie ever! Dank Mike, Hardus, Eugene en rest van de staf voor deze onvergetelijke ervaringen
