Riverview Inn

Pros: Right next to the Crocodile river witha nice seating and dining area with great views. Rooms were comfortable and the close proximity to the Kruger Gate is a definite plus. We had dinner here, too, which was good.

Cons: Nothing, really

Pros: Stayed a week at the resort and enjoyed every minute. Brilliant location and the staff were wonderful. The resort and our room was spotless.

Pros: Our 2nd stay at this property on our 3rd visit to Kruger. Wish we had stayed here last time we were here. Really friendly, helpful staff. Special mention to Treasure on the front reception. Rooms are big, comfortable and clean with A/C. Great views( especially from the 1st floor) overlooking the Crocodile River and Kruger National park. Saw a great variety of animals whilst sitting on our balcony. A mere 10-15min drive to Malelane Kruger Gate

Pros: We loved everything, fantastic views of the Kruger right from the deck. Good aircon and huge bed. Mostly wonderful staff, especially Treasure who assisted me with an early arrival.

Cons: Nothing to complain about. I will certainly return.

We loved it at riverview as it was so close the the park and amenities and friendly people we met .

Pros: We were warmly received by the manager who made time to show us the views and share local information. The food was very nice too although we did not have brekfast during our stay [on the park early doors]

Cons: The meu selection was a little limited but what we had was extremely enjoyable but really this was a great hotel in a great location. It is also close by to some shops if you need to buys snack/drinks.

Wet and wild

Pros: We arrived in the middle of the biggest flood for years but the welcome and facilities were more than acceptable. The views were dramatic and wild life spectacular

Cons: Given the extreme circumstances it would be harsh to be critical. The meals were tasty if limited in choice but very good value and plentiful.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and always helpful. The food was good for both lunch and dinner - the menu is not very large, but everything was tasty and served quickly. The location is excellent, tranquil and peaceful, with beautiful views and the chance to see animals nearby. The hotel was spotless and well-maintained. It is definitely good value for money, and overall, we were delighted with our stay.

Pros: I stayed at this hotel last night near Kruger National Park in South Africa, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The location is definitely the best part of this hotel — it’s very convenient and close to the park, which makes it perfect for travelers planning an early safari or exploring the area. The surroundings are calm and feel connected to nature.

Cons: I am very disappointed with my experience at this place. If you are Indian or South Asian, I would not recommend staying here. During our stay, we felt repeatedly treated as if we did not matter. The manager’s behavior made us feel unwelcome, and the receptionist was very rude toward us. On multiple occasions (around 4–5 times), we experienced what felt like unfair treatment because of our background. It was uncomfortable and upsetting. The only positive part of our stay was the two ladies in the restaurant, who were polite and helpful, and treated us with respect. Overall, we felt unwelcome and ignored, and because of this treatment, I would not choose to stay here again.
