We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casterbridge- we were well cared for.

Pros: Beautiful & spacious room. Lovely breakfast with lots of variety. The location was very convenient for shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed spending time in the pool area.

Cons: Be aware that the hotel is situated on the main road- so there is some traffic noise.

Location is everything

Pros: The rooms are spacious, clean and all look out out onto the pool. Breakfast is simple but tasty and it helps that it is served early from a work point of view. Have stayed here a number of times and will continue coming back.

Cons: Don't love the noise of the traffic you can hear from the rooms near the bottom end with all the trucks at night.

Lovely Hotel

Pros: The hotel is lovely and the staff were friendly and welcoming. There are some lovely touches, such as a welcome snack in the lobby and real filter coffee and espresso available in the room and a very comfy bed. The dinner and breakfast in Magnolia were delicious.

Cons: Not an issue, but the lighting in the room was very bright or very dim. A bedside lamp (rather than just a reading light on the bed) would be a positive addition.
