Truly relaxing break in the bush

Pros: The lodge is beautifully decorated and easy to find and access. We loved the safari on the way in from the main gate to the lodge - seeing buffalo, giraffe, zebra, nyala. The hosts were incredible - so helpful, and non-intrusive. Our room was attached to a balcony that overlooked the river/dam, and we could watch game coming down to drink and sit out and watch the stars. It was truly peaceful, with nothing but the sounds of nature. There's no phone signal at the lodge, but the wifi was good. We wanted to relax and unwind and it was perfect for that. We did a little trip into Hoedspruit one day, and had lovely braais in the evenings. A big bonus was the experience of joining Louis in feeding the game in the morning and seeing the animals that closely was really a special experience! Also, I should mention that the provided breakfasts were delicious!

Cons: I have nothing negative to say. I was glad that we'd seen the notice to bring your own snacks and drinks, as there is no bar on site and we arrived well prepared. But, Hoedspruit is close and there are other stores in the area close to the lodge.

Good stay fab host nice Brai and fire pit on an evening felt like we were at one with nature

Cons: Extremely long road in and out of the estate

Beautiful accommodation with friendly and dedicated staff surrounded by incredible scenery.

Pros: Really friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, beautiful clean rooms with lots of thoughtful touches like insect repellent. Very generous and helpful team who made sure we had a fantastic time.

Cons: Only disappointment was the dipping pool on our terrace is no longer in use due to previous flooding but still advertised online as available but main pool was in action and lovely.

the perfect stopover to calm down

Pros: Best price-performance ratio. Peaceful location, super nice and authentic furnishings. Comfortable room with great facilities. Extremely friendly hosts, they took a lot of time to answer all of our questions. There is a lot of attention to detail in this place, we felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend coming here. Perfect location for a stopover.

Cons: You have to know that this is a smaller reserve and there are no large predators on the farm, but there is a water buffalo focus and other great animals like giraffes.

Amazing place and very helpful staff.

Pros: Great location and helpful staff. Very nice accommodation and the fireplace is the place to be! Had great diner and breakfast. The ride to the lodge is already a fun one. Unfortunately we only stay one night.

Amazing experience

Pros: I loved everything at Malilule Safaris, from the moment I entered their gate we saw the giraffes 2nd gate the was buffalos and last gate were antelopes it's an amazing experience

Cons: Long gravel into the lodge that's all.

My stay was enjoyable but it could have been better with some improvements

Pros: The view 😻🔥it’s so cool and nice place to relax the view was breathtaking.The beauty of the scenery took my breath away. It was like a work of art, a masterpiece created by nature. I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder as I took it all in. The staff are so friendly ❤️

Cons: While the location was beautiful, I was disappointed by the lack of basic amenities like hot water and a proper kitchen.this can make your stay uncomfortable even though we only had a light rain it was difficult to cook

Lovely Stay

Pros: The family room was very comfortable. Fan only but stayed cool. Very large washroom. Common sitting area was pretty. Staff who greeted us were nice and informative and allowed privacy. Saw some Buffalo and giraffe and smaller game on way in.

Cons: The pool could have been cleaner but the setting was beautiful.

Mailule, a destination to be

Pros: Game drive on our way. The staff are friendly. A perfect place for relaxation. How I wished we stayed longer.

Cons: The weather didn't favor us, because it was raining.
