What a wonderful adventure!
Pros: Pezulu tree house lodge exceeded our expectations. The tree houses are amazing, spacious, with comfortable beds with mosquito nets, outdoor shower and indoor bathroom with a tub, a large porch from which we saw 20 to 30 impalas, a family of wildebeest and a zebra, up to 9 giraffes right in front of us (5 to 50 meters away) every morning and evening. At night we heard lions and hyenas. The Safaris and guides were super, we saw all big 5 and hyenas, rhinos, hippos, giraffes, and many many more. There is a nice boma, the food was very good. The staff is lovely and the owner is exceptional and told us about his exciting adventures. Thank you for everything, Vaughan! The leopard lady and company will come back :)

Fun time in the treetops
Pros: Food was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable and fun setup in the treetops. Game drive guides were fun, knowledgeable and engaging.

Warm and amazing!
Pros: Everything was amazing—the people, the food, the location, the animals! It’s the kind of place that gives you memories to last a lifetime, with staff who truly make you feel like family.

Stunning individual treehouses, unique and comfortable
Pros: Our tree house, Mountain View, was amazing, with stunning views. The first night treated us to a thunder and lightning show which was spectacular. The lodge itself was friendly and welcoming, with great food (including catering for a vegetarian). The night-drive was really interesting, and a good change from daytimes in the Kruger. This was our second visit to Pezulu, and I’m sure we will return again

Gorgeous authentic African experience in our very own treehouse
Pros: We loved our treehouse, it was a wonderful experience. Less on the luxurious side, more on the authentic African experience. The staff were lovely, and especially caring and inclusive with the kids, the outdoor shower just gorgeous, as well as the bath tub with a view. They were very accomodating with booking activities and making everything we wanted possible.
Cons: I would caution booking this in summer, we had one 37 degree day there, and the airconditioner made little to no impact. Some times when we were booking activities, key details were not mentioned, like the school at the NGO not being open on the weekend so no kids there (though we probably should have guessed that), and on safari the driver took us further, which was very kind, however it made it a 14 hour day and we were all exhausted.

Pros: We had a truly wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, the service at the reception was excellent — warm, welcoming, and very professional. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an exceptional experience surrounded by beautiful wildlife and nature. The entire staff was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. Everything was excellent — thank you so much to the whole team!

A wonderful stay with great views, sounds of nature and amazing food.
Pros: The food was amazing, and the staff catered to us beautifully. They also packed an awesome picnic basket for our day trip. Highly recommended. Quiet, peaceful, and great for unplugging and taking in nature.
