Unique experience, wonderful hosts & delicious food
Pros: Vincent and Toni were exceptional hosts who anticipated every need and made our first safari a truly magical experience. Being able to watch zebras, wildebeest, and kudus from our room and during dinner was an incredible privilege. The food was outstanding, and our stay was absolutely delightful. We would highly recommend this place.

Pros: We spent a total of five nights at Sunset Lodge. Toni and Vincent are wonderful hosts. They did everything to make us feel comfortable and our stay unforgettable. We had two beautiful rooms overlooking the bush. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The excursions with Vincent were also wonderful, for example, the visit to the Panorama Route. The conversations with Vincent and Toni in the evenings over a relaxing drink were great, and we learned a lot about animals, nature, and South Africa. Our stay at Sunset Lodge was very special, and I have rarely experienced such dedicated owners. We simply felt welcome. We would like to sincerely thank Toni, Vincent, and their team for the wonderful time. I can highly recommend a stay at Sunset Lodge to anyone looking for a special experience away from mass tourism.

Our stay was great 😊
Pros: The property welcomed us to the lodge and gave us the best treatment possible and their meals 👌👌👌we were always looking forward to breakfast and dinner
Cons: The cleaning staff were not changing the linens for the duration of our stay even the towels

What an amazing place, loved it!
Pros: An absolute gem. The hosts are great and so knowledgeable. They care deeply for the environment and make sure the lodge is eco friendly. Super nice room, very clean and beautiful. The property is so nice, we sat around the campfire at night and the food was always freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. Definitely highly recommend this place. We stayed 3 nights, did the full day Kruger tour, a half day game drive and a bush walk, as well as the boat ride in Blyde Canyon. Our hosts organized everything for us and it was super easy and comfortable. The Orpen gate is about 45 minutes away. On the property there are zebra, giraffe and many antelope. So lovely!

Fantastic!!
Pros: We really loved our stay at the Sunset Lodge. Toni and Vincent are 2 lovely people who really make you feel at home. The accommodation arranges several excursions like safari tours and other thing. During our stay we took the Big five morning Safari drive and would recommend this one. We did not try the other ones but they also looked very nice. Every day ends with a drink at the campfire where Toni and Vincent (and maybe other guests) will join you and talk about the experiences of that day and the plans for tomorrow. Toni and Vincent can give you very usefull tips also for when you are driving the Kruger Park by yourself. During the drinks at the campfire the lovey staff of the lodge will prepare diner. Diner will be served at 19:00 and then you eat with the whole group. We really loved this experience and loved the cozy feeling. 100% recommending this accommodation!

Amazing stay!
Pros: Our stay was simply amazing. Tony and Vincent are incredibly welcoming hosts and we enjoyed many dinners and talks with them. Their lodges are self sufficient in water and electricity and all the homecooked meals were delicious. We did a sunset safari drive with Vincent which was very nice as he told us a lot about the nature and it was a great way to start our stay there. We saw some awesome animals up close in a 2 hour drive through the guernsey reserve. We wished we could have stayed longer to also do the bush walk or the camping and learn lots more. Our stay here has been the highlight of our trip so far!

Perfect location to stay and have local exchange
Pros: All, Tony & Vincent are welcoming perfectly and want you to feel at home and benefit from this nice, peaceful and bush embedded location. We had a great local walk to understand not only the animal tracks but also trees and traditional way of living thanks to Andrew & Vincent. The team is wonderful and the relation is cool and respectful. The confort is perfect and the food very good and healthy. We will recommend this place to friends and anyone coming next to Kruger Park. You have very access to Game Park Safari and other nice activities ! All the best to our guests and the whole team Christine & Christophe

A beautiful stay with african animals
Pros: Thank you for making our stay a wonderful experience. The hosts are kind and helpful, the place is quiet, and the rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is served with a splendid view of the mountains and the animals. Dinner is also good; they are very attentive to our dietary needs. We hope to return again.
