Secluded luxury in a wildlife and trout fishing haven.

Pros: We enjoyed a wonderfully luxurious and tranquil stay, very well looked after by Vicky and Patricia. Vicky's cooking was excellent and varied. Our room was large and comfortable. The bath was pool sized and enjoyed greatly by our young boys. The main attraction of the place is its remoteness, swallowed in seclusion by mountains where the outside world is left behind. We were lucky to spot a leopard. The river fishing and spa services were enjoyed too.

Cons: An information booklet in the rooms would be appreciated, ie. wifi password, services available, map of the fishery, etc. A high chair would've been a tremendous help with our little one.

Great peaceful getaway weekend

Pros: Lovely food prepared by Vicky, quiet and peaceful sitting looking at the view to the dam and beyond, walking the dogs around the estate, kids enjoyed the rowing boat on the dam. Just a great place to go for the weekend.

Cons: All good. Be aware there's not much internet or cell phone signal.

Pros: Very peaceful lodge, magnificient surroundings, ideal place to rest and disconnect from the busy city life.

Cons: Some could argue that the lack of networtk coverage in the remote valley is an issue. For us it wasn't. We had less time on our phone and more playing games with family.

Pros: Beautiful settings , fabulous food, friendly host, fishing for trout , river walks , wild swimming

Cons: Wi fi hit and miss but actually that’s a good thing :)

Nooitgedacht brings comfort, style and rest together with peace, splendor and God's presence.

Pros: Vicky, our hostess was like always superb. The food was delicious, the farm is picturesque and tranquil, we truly rested and recommend this beautiful gem to any nature lover.

Cons: We should have booked two nights not one.

Beautiful place, staff very friendly, wish fishing had been a little better

Pros: Beautiful location. Been very well maintained. Food was too. We are upstairs in the library. Have driven past for many many years, and have always wanted to try it out.

Cons: Fishing was very slow.
