Amazing mountain views! Solar powered!

Pros: Simply stunning Bush Lodge. Very peaceful and secluded, yet close to Hoedspruit Town with all its shops and restaurants. The lodge is very well equipped and Adelaide, the housekeeper, is a gem.

Very enjoyable stay in a beautiful estatey and house very close the Kruger park for animals lovers

Pros: Exceptionnal view of the surroundings mountains, very vast and confortable house nested in a game reserve ( no big 5, so safe to walk) and well attended by house keeper and main gate security team..

Cons: The elephant feet seats that are awkward in a first place and too low to eat properly at the nice and long kitchen counter

Luxury, private stay in stunning surroundings.

Pros: Adelaide was a fantastic host and catered to our every need. The beautiful outlook from the deck was breathtaking. The sparkling pool was a welcome treat after a hot day in Kruger and the fully air-conditioned home was a lifesaver. The home is spacious, beautifully furnished and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need and more. The Blue Mountain restaurant on site is beautifully appointed and the best place to drink a cocktail and watch the sunset.

Cons: My only criticism is that the mattress in the primary suite is hard. Other than that, our stay was absolutely fantastic.

Great nature experience

Pros: Adelaide (the host/helper) is a darling, she was always there to lend a helping hand whenever we needed it. We loved her humility. The location is great. The Estate is full of serenity and is excellent for nature lovers. We took morning walks around the Estate and managed to spot several wild animals (Giraffe, wildhogs, Impala and others) during our walks. The restaurant in the Estate is very relaxing.

Cons: There was a time we felt we are being stereotyped and racially discriminated by this one specific neighbour who happens to be a permanent resident at the Estate. Whenever they heard a slight noise, they called security that we are making a noise. The security personnel was even surprised when they arrived because there was no loud noise or loud music as reported. This happened twice and we later learnt the noise was coming from another house, people at that house were watching a rugby match and their cheers were loud. The noise complaints stopped after learning of this. This was very disappointing and offending. Luckily we are level headed people, otherwise we could have been spiteful. The host should consider having alternative blankets and comforters suitable for double beds to cater for couples. 2 of the 4 bedroom only had single bed comforters and it is not conducive for a group of couples.

Amazing stay

Pros: The house is really spacious and clean, the kitchen is fully equipped, there’s nothing that kitchen doesn’t have, it has a decent sized swimming pool which came in handy as it was scorching hot all rooms are air conditioned. The WiFi was great.The host (Tom)is always available on WhatsApp to answer all your questions, really nice guy, he even allowed us to move our dates as my kid was hospitalized on the original dates. The helper (Adelaide) was really helpful and even offered to start fire for our braai. It is in a huge estate that has a lot of different animals. I’ll definitely go back

Cons: The mattresses are too firm - lifetime warranty mattresses are normally not comfortable.

Tolles Haus, wahnsinnig schöne Aussicht, tolle Gastgeber!

Pros: Ein tolles großes und komplett ausgestattetes Haus für entspannte Tage im Busch. Der Ausblick auf die Berge des Blyde River Gebirges, die dschungelartige Umgebung des Hauses und vor allem das Wasserloch mit regelmässigen Tierbesuchen ist einfach spaktakulär. Vor Ort hat uns Adelaide begrüßt und war ständig für uns da, zB. mit dem Abwasch oder auch der Wäsche. Ich habe noch nie so perfekt gebügelte und gefaltene T-Shirts nach dem Waschen bekommen. :-) Ein besonderes Plus ist die Solaranlage mit Speicher zur Überbrückung der in Südafrika ja regelmässigen Load Shedding Zeiten. Der Kontakt zum (nicht vor Ort stationierten) Vermieter Tom war perfekt und sehr freundlich. Auf Wunsch hat er uns sogar einen Tisch im benachbarten Restaurant gebucht. Alles in allem ein perfekter Aufenthalt mit perfekten Gastgebern. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
