Baobab Ridge

Fantastic

Pros: Small property which made you feel like a personal friend visiting. Linda made contact and problem solving easy, so helpful and pleasant but there again everyone at Baobab was just that. The guides, Moven and Devine are fantastic , ticking off the big 5 and even the Ugly 5!

Cons: Absolutely nothing

Baobab Ridge are clearly hospitality experts. They've thought of everything, just perfect.

Pros: Everything was outstanding, the service, food, accommodation, our guide David was so knowledgeable. Even the other guests were lovely. We had a perfect time.

Cons: Brighter lighting in the room would be great.

Brilliant accommodation, staff and game drives - cannot recommend enough!

Pros: The best place we have ever stayed! Staff were brilliant from the second we arrived, and made us feel very welcome. The food was exceptional at breakfast, lunch and dinner and the portions were very generous. The lodges themselves were spacious and clean and the huge bath was a treat. The decking area was also great and we were lucky enough to see a herd of elephants just metres away one afternoon. Most importantly we loved the game drives - we were guided by Devine who was so friendly and knowledgable about the different animals and bush in general, we learnt so much. We were very lucky to have seen the big five as well as so much more.

Pros: Upon arrival, we were surprised with the news that we would be the only guests for our first night and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special one. The food was great and the hosts were just wonderful. The game drives did not disappoint either. We had a very special encounter with lots of elephants on our first drive and saw giraffes and hippos (albeit submerged) too. On following drives we added hyenas and rhinos as well as kudus, impalas and other antilopes to the list as well.

Cons: Unfortunately, we only had a very brief encounter with one male lion and did not see any other cats there. This is probably due to the season (we were there in April) but also the region. Areas like Sabi Sand further south have a lot more cats but accomodation is a lot more expensive there, too.

Pros: Die Safaris mit einem super Guide, die Bewirtung der Angestellten und die Lage sind einfach traumhaft für einen entspannten Urlaub. Der Preis ist zwar etwas höher aber das Geld ist es wert.

The food and cottage were excellent!!!

Pros: We LOVED our stay!!! The lodge was amazing and very beautiful. I loved hanging out by the pool watching all the different animals visit the watering hole. Our guide, Devine, was very knowledgeable and friendly and made the game drives interesting. It was a lovely and relaxing trip!

Cons: We didn’t get to see any lions, but that is the way nature works sometimes. They were all at the preserve adjacent to ours while we were there. We got lots of close up pics with other animals though, such as wild dogs, a leopard, and plenty of giraffes, elephants, and other game!

Pros: De ligging, het service niveau, de game drives, het lekkere eten. Alles was gewoon meer dan uitstekend.

Fantastische plek, zou het zeker aanraden!

Pros: Wat een fantastische plek, super game drives gehad met Divine waar we de big 5 en nog veel meer hebben kunnen zien. Accommodatie was heerlijk en we werden goed verzorgd met lekker eten en personeel was erg vriendelijk.

Cons: Niets…

Sublieme ervaring!

Pros: Het hele verblijf was zalig! Van de ontvangst, tot het eten, tot de 'kamer' (eerder huis), tot de faciliteiten en de game-drives was alles gewoonweg perfect! We hebben er enorm van genoten om hier twee dagen te verblijven. Het eten is telkens anders en heerlijk bereidt. De was wordt gedaan, het personeel is enorm vriendelijk en er wordt aan alles gedacht. Ik kan er werkelijk niks slechts over zeggen, we werden er gewoonweg verwend!
