Our stay was amazing. Beautiful lodge, great friends and a very nice game drive with Leo.

Pros: Loved the location. Everything was clean and attention to detail excellent.

Perfect Bush Getaway

Pros: Absolutely loved everything about this place! Stunning views, beautifully furnished and kept extremely clean (thanks to our wonderful cleaning lady who came everyday!). The attention to detail is outstanding - Kanaan Lodge has everything you could think of and more. We especi ally loved the pizza oven and board games! Can't wait to go back!

Cons: Loved everything. Even when we had a small issue with the oven, the owners were quick to assist and fixed the problem immediately.

Pros: This property is incredible, it exceeded our expectations. The accommodation is equipped with absolutely everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. The attention to detail & cleanliness is 10/10. The location is fantastic, which allowed for magnificent views. I can not fault this accommodation, simply awesome!

Pros: Loved the house layout,cleanliness and the overall spaciousness. Well equipped house with every kitchen utensil imaginable including an ice machine. Fantastic host and owners who were constantly in touch to ensure our wellbeing and comfort. Mina, with her great attitude and who cleans like a machine. Freedom of having our own game viewer with a five year old grandson who could talk to his hearts content and just be a five year old little boy who didn't disturb any other guests.

Cons: Nothing to do with the lodge but the game viewing was disappointing. Neighbours had a party and lit a bon fire despite specific rules about both.

A truly luxurious bush getaway for the whole family!

Pros: Fantastic location with beautiful views over the bushveld, excellently appointed facilities with lots of attention to detail. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with a lovely luxurious feel. Having our own game drive vehicle was the cherry on the top, overall an excellent family weekend away!

Cons: Neighbours were a little closer than I would have liked, could hear their conversations and music a bit too much so not as secluded as I'd hoped.

Kanaan is Tops!

Pros: The facilities was amazing it was a relaxing weekend wish we could stay longer. Everything was nice and clean. The Hostess aswell as owners always stayed in contact to make sure we were satisfied t all times the service was amazing!! Will definitely go back again!!

Cons: There wasn't anything to dislike. When we told them about the ice machine not working they made sure to get someone out to have a look at it and even replaced it so very happy about the service!! Was a great weekend away!

An awesome family relaxation holiday.

Pros: The host was constantly in contact to ensure everything was up to standard. The use of the Game Vehicle really added to our holiday and made it a real adventure holiday. The amenities are fantastic and there wasn't anything we felt was missing. The daily cleaning of the lodge was very much appreciated.

Cons: We all would have liked a larger TV available for us to watch the Rugby !

Pros: The accommodation was far more than we expected. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the view was stunning. Our wheelchair guest was able to join us at the boma and the braai - there was no part of the lodge which was inaccessible to him. We loved every minute of our stay.

Cons: It's a pity that the reserve does not allow game drives in private vehicles, but the lodge hosts were able to supply us with an approved game drive vehicle for an additional fee, which was greatly appreciated.
