Amazing stay. Super good value.

Pros: All was perfect. Super friendly staff and managers. Great food. The family bungalows were top with an amazing view. A special big thanks for our driver, Victor ! We'll come back!

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this game lodge in Kruger. The location is truly special , right in the heart of the jungle, offering a very authentic and immersive experience. The hosts and their entire staff were incredibly warm and attentive, taking excellent care of us throughout our stay. The food was a real highlight; every meal was thoughtfully prepared, and my wife especially appreciated the delicious vegetarian options, which were handled with great care. While animal sightings were limited during our visit, this was largely due to the rains and beyond the lodge’s control. That aside, the property itself is beautifully maintained, luxurious, and extremely comfortable. Overall, it’s a fantastic lodge with great hospitality, excellent food, and a stunning setting. We would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a refined yet immersive Kruger experience.

A stylish and comfortable game lodge where we had a truly excellent game guide.

Pros: A lovely, intimate game lodge where we stayed in an airy, glass-walled pavilion overlooking a dry river bed. We could watch elephants, buck and zebra drinking from a pool just below us. Our game guide Given was outstanding and took us to unusual sightings, including a pride of young male lions devouring an elephant carcass. We also saw rhino and at night two leopards sneaking off into the forest. His excellent knowledge of wildlife was among the best we had encountered in over 50 years of visiting wildlife reserves.

Absolutely fabulous

Pros: Hospitality second to none. Beautiful clean rooms with view into bush where you can see many animals. Game drives amazing. Food was plentiful and delicious. I can't rate this highly enough. We had a fab time.

Pros: Amazing staff and location. they truly went above and beyond for their guests, and you felt like you were a family member staying at their house. We will absolutely be back at some point in the future. Also, great game viewing from the lodge and on the drives, which made the stay even better!

Marvelous! Love it!

Pros: It’s nestled in the Babule Game Reserve. The facility is great and clean. The rooms here face the river. We got to experience the tranquility of our surrounding jungle/forest. Given, our guide, is exceptional, experienced with tracking wild life and loves them. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. Carol and her team are marvellous hosts. Food is good.

Cons: No WiFi in the room.. which can be a positive thing if you want to go offline and relax 😊

Pros: A definite highlight of our trip to South Africa. We stayed at 4 lodges on safari and this was most welcoming with best game sightings. Much easier to access than other lodges too. Thoroughly recommend.

Felt like being part of the Greenfire family!

Beautiful lodge and great service

Pros: Beutiful setting and lodge. The service: Great. All of them treat us like royalty! Carol always waited for us after the game drives. Given was a great guide, Veronica, and the others treat us great. The bush tv: incomparable.

Pros: Carol & her staff were amazing, always attentive, & couldn't have been more helpful. The game drives were so rewarding .... food was great, & the surroundings were so peaceful.
