A fabulous stay

Pros: Beautiful luxury tent with all modern conveniences plus extra touches. Big bathroom with connected outside shower that was fabulous. We could sit on our decking and listen to all of the amazing bird and animal calls. Two amazing bush drives every day to see the animals close up. Great food.

Cons: Having to leave.

We loved our stay at The Sausage Tree

Pros: Fantastic staff, good food and the tents with outdoor shower were very comfortable. We have seen the Big 5 in 24 hours. We will definitely come back.

Incredible experience, full of care, attention to detail, and unforgettable safari moments

Pros: My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights and it was simply incredible! The care and attention to detail were something I hadn’t experienced in a long time. They were always making sure we had the best experience possible. We arrived late, and even so, they prepared a special lunch just for us. The bed was super comfortable, and the thoughtful touch of leaving hot water bottles made everything even more special. There are 2 game drives per day, and we were able to see the animals really up close, with guides who were so attentive and passionate about what they do. I must give a special thanks to Tamara, who was always so helpful and even assisted me in recovering my jacket that I had forgotten at the lodge. I highly recommend it with my eyes closed! An excellent place to stay — just book it and enjoy the best safari!

Our stayed exceeded all expectations, going above and beyond what we thought our time would look like.

Pros: Everything - from the location, to the luxury tents, common areas, dining spaces and very importantly the staff. Beautifully curated to create a comfortable, authentic feeling experience. All of the staff from trackers and guides to general staff were incredibly welcoming and kind throughout our stay. The meals were incredible and our daily game drives were beyond amazing. We learned so much, saw so much and had a phenomenal first safari experience for our honeymoon.

Big 5

Pros: The tracker/driver on the game drives were fantastic. Only place where we saw Big 5 in one visit. Other staff also great. Excellent food. Great leg massage.

Cons: Zips on the tents! (Managers will understand the comment).

A magical 24-hour safari filled with animals, delicious meals, and fulfillment of a childhood dream.

Pros: Beautiful location for breakfast. Sitting high up at a long table post safari with a wonderful view out over the world, what more could you ask for...

like the Safari vehicle, no roof, so cool. Not very high cost performance, but already the best one.

Pros: Guide show us big Five, 4 in the afternoon safari--elephant/buffalo/leopard/Lion. 1 in the morning safari--rhinoceros. Really nice.

Cons: The dinner is Lamb, I haven't mentioned I do not eat Lamb in advance.

Excellent

Pros: Great staff, great food! Guides were very knowledgeable and went out of their way to make sure we saw as many animals as possible. James, the owner would join us for breakfast each morning and shared his knowledge about the area which we enjoyed. We stayed in a newly renovated room which was lovely.
