Magical Sabie

Pros: Great location, fabulous staff and excellent food.

Cons: A few shelves in the room would helpful and the entry door into our room needed attention.

Pros: Great view to the nationalpark, clean pool, great food and friendly personal. Especially the game drive was well-organized with pick up in the accommodation.

Cons: In our room were geckos, streets of ants and other insects but this probably something to live with when sleeping in the bush.

Pros: The staff were so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. France who drove and told us about the animals on the Safari provided an excellent service and Patrick took us on the panoramic tour which he simply made the best tour we have ever been on.

Dreamy place, amazing staff & excellent food

Pros: What a magical place! A huge thank you to the entire team at Sabie River Bush Lodge for their kindness. The whole staff is extremely professional and caring. We had a warm welcome with a refreshing towel and a homemade drink at our arrival. Our two luxury tents were very comfortable; we lacked nothing. The view over the Sabie River was simply incredible. Dinner was excellent, with vegetarian options that we truly appreciated. Breakfast was unbelievably good (homemade bread, pancakes, homemade jam, etc.) β€” 10/10 for the food. The pool and garden are very well maintained, and the place is very peaceful. We were even able to see hippos right in front of us. Our car was cleaned as well on the day we left, we also really appreciate this attention. One night was not enough; we would have loved to stay longer β€” it was fantastic. 15 min drive from Paul Kruger gate. We will definitely come back. Thank you so much, we had a perfect stay !

Great Riverview, relaxing pool area, perfect spot outside the KP with the gate closeby.

Pros: We loved the river view: perfect view from the pool and pool area. Many activities on location: mini golf, chess, hammocks. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dinner was great: braai on the first day, menu on the second. Full day safari with Mbuso exciting and informative. Good location if you want to go on a self-drive safari. We enjoyed it very much and will recommend it.

Cons: Take away breakfast could be better: proper cheese would be great, plates and cutlery were missing. Regarding dinner we'd recommend that the chef won't put all the meat on the braai at the same time, thus the meat was well done and dry. Grilled to order would be nice.

Pros: Calming for a relaxed time. Were also able to see he hippo's in the river in front of the venue various times.

Cons: Just the airconditioner did not work when we arrived but was sorted out the very next day.

Very nice setting on Sabie river - but perhaps a bit further from the park gate than ideal

Pros: Friendly staff, nice evening meals, nice inexpensive bar, mini golf, guided safaris available if required with knowledgeable guides who went out of their way to find great wildlife spotting for us

Cons: No WiFi, breakfast less good than dinner, packed lunches/breakfasts poor especially compared to how nice the evening meals were
