Rixile Kruger Lodge

Pros: I really enjoyed my stay here! Highly recommended from a Canadian traveller. Nice quiet location with acess to Kruger gate hotel, pool and restaurant, it was the perfect location for me! Easy access to Kruger where the photos of elephants and giraffe are from! The baboons were right outside as well as other fun wildlife!

Pros: Nice location handy for Kruger National Park. Friendly attentive hose and nice facilities.. perfect!

Stay in the Bushveld

Pros: If you like accommodation in the Bushveld, this is your place, close to the hotel. Hotel facilities are available (swimming pools, restaurant, view on the river). Host keeps you updated on the arrangement and respond quickly on any request. The cottage is very close to the Kruger Park entrance, about 5 minutes drive. We saw several antilope and monkeys at the cottage and this was nice.

Cons: There are two cottages close to each other, the photos on the booking site are mixed, so it can be confusing on the expectations. Slightly a challenge to find the place, but the host explained it well. There is no view on the river.

Pros: Our time at Rixile was amazing. The lodge has all the amenities required to make your stay pleasant, and the hotel is a stone's throw away should you prefer to dine out. The surroundings are tranquil, just what we needed for some R&R. Clint is a gracious and always on hand to assist. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rixi

An exceptional stay, exceeded our expectations

Pros: We had a brilliant stay at Rixile. The location is private, tranquil and the property is spotless, finished to a high standard and well equipped. Clint couldn’t be more helpful and we had such a comfortable stay. We were on the fence about staying at Kruger Gate Hotel before we had booked and I’m so glad we didn’t as this stay felt a lot more personal - with access to the hotel facilities. Highly recommend and hope to return.

A cozy house surrounded by nature

Pros: 1. A wonderful host who will tell you everything about the house and help you with any questions you may have. 2. A cozy house with everything you need (from dishes to coffee capsules and dishwasher tablets). 3. The house is very clean. 4. All the furniture is new, the towels and bed linen are the whitest and newest. 5. I wanted to stay there again and again. 6. The perfect location for an early morning safari to the park.

Short trip with friends

Pros: We had the pleasure of staying 2 nights in this beautiful lodge, a hidden gem, tucked away in Kruger gate with free roaming wildlife… Immersed in nature, simple yet luxurious. Celebrated my partner’s birthday and it ticked our boxes for being such a private, tranquil place to stay in the bush. The rooms, views, hospitality… everything was just amazing. Clint is a super-host, warm and responsive to our needs, which immediately made us feel at home. Small details are attended to such as when to clean the room. We definitely recommend this place!
