Unique, quirky, totally amazing experience at Shalati Train.

Pros: The Train Hotel Rooms are stunning. The pool and view over the river are breathtaking. However it was Musa our Safari guide that truly made our time here outstanding, such an incredible experience.

Exceptional facilities and location and so welcoming.

Pros: Beautiful location and facilities, complemented by super welcoming and friendly staff who couldn’t do more for you, all with a healthy sense of humour. Lisa, our guide, was great and delivered every time, Tinashe, our sommelier, gave us a great experience and showed us some lovely nuanced SA wines, and Lwazi, our waitress, was so lovely, joyful and always smiling.

Would 10/10 recommend this stay to anyone looking.

Pros: The room and location were incredible. The food was delicious. Our game driver Ayanda was amazing and we could not have had a better experience. From the airport transfer to all the little details. It was just perfectly organized and thought out.

Amazing experience!

Pros: The room was perfect! All meals were delicious. The staff were super attentive and helpful. There are 2 games, early morning and late afternoon, and the guide (MK) was just the BEST - I've learned so much about the animals, fauna and flora - an amazing experience.

Pros: The location and spa treatments are world-class. Accommodation and staff excellent. Food is good, some dishes might be a bit risky for average travellers, like the mopani worm risotto.

Cons: It is very expensive but definitely an amazing experience for people that would not enjoy more basic amenities offered throughout the Kruger Park.

Amazing natural place

Pros: The fact that it’s inside the kruger, the friendliness of most of the employees! The safaris were amazing and tue guide was extremely friendly and wise.

Cons: Although not directly linked to the hotel, the employees at the Skukuza airport were unfriendly and unprofessional. Our bags were open and someone tried to remove stuff from them, so be careful and watch your valuables

Pros: Kruger Shalati is a unique and incredible experience. The staff are awesome the food is outstanding and the rooms are just perfect looking over the Sabie river. The game drives are amazing our guide Sidney was a credit to Shalati he was so knowledgeable about all the animals and the bush it was just the best experience ever.
