Pros: It was amazing!! I wish we could have stayed a bit longer. The elephants coming to the pool to get water was the big plus, also loads of impalas running around. We loved it! The game drives were brilliant, we saw so many animals. I really recommend it!
Cons: All good!

Fantastic, lifetime experience.
Pros: It was a fantastic experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the whole trip was prepared from the morning until the evening. It was truly a lifetime experience.
Cons: I wished there were more pillow options in the tent. I found the pillows too flat which made it difficult to sleep.

Amazing safari, location and wildlife, not to mention the elephants drinking from the pool!
Pros: Fantastic location, food was excellent, service superb, all round fantastic safari experience, loved the elephants visiting the swimming pool for a drink!
Cons: Given the location nothing really, it meet and even exceeded our expectations.

Immersed in the bush
Pros: This is an amazing place, which is even better in real life than the photos. Yes, the elephants do come up to drink from the pool, and if they're feeling mischievous they'll squirt you! You're arranged into groups for meals according to who your guide is, and we were able to mix with a great crowd. Meals are great and the service overall is superb. Special shout outs to our guide, Brilliant, and server Previous. We were fortunate enough to stay on a night when there was a bush meal arranged by the staff. The game drives are an absolute hoot!
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Everything was simply amazing. The lodge was great, we loved our tent, we felt very closed to nature. We loved that the animals are free to wander the camp and be able to see them so close without disturbing them has no words. The cherry on the cake are the elephants coming everyday to drink at the pool which was breathtaking. The staff is very nice, frienfly, always smiling. Our guide, Brilliant, was great, very knowledgable about every animal and nature. It was an incredible experience and adventure.
Cons: Nothing!

An amazing stay in the safari
Pros: It's really a unique experience in a private reserve close to Kruger (without fences to Kruger so that animals can move on). The team is very welcoming, the rangers are very knowledgeable and you get a boutique safari experience in the nature.
Cons: We liked everything. Just recommend that they ask in advance on dietary/allergies for food, but they sorted it out.

Pros: Incredible value for money safaris. Private enough yet ample sighting opportunities. Tents were spacious and beautiful. Food was reliable and good
Cons: Our guide was knowledgeable, yet not always equally engaged. The setup of Mantobeni makes it that you always have your dinners with the same people as you have game drives with. No individual dinners are included

Pros: It felt like a local experience. The staff was very nice and supportive. Food was excellent and the game drives were awesome. We saw the Big 5 within 2 days and our guide explained a lot about all the animals we saw.
Cons: The only thing I can \

Beyond expectations
Pros: This felt like a luxury stay because of the small touches the staff provided, like hot towels after safari and the standard of food.
Cons: Only criticism is that the bed sheets are hard and cold, despite being a heated mattress. Very small detail considering this is a tent.

Absolutely stunning camp, brilliant food. Tour Guide could be improved
Pros: Very good, high-quality accommodation with tents. The tents are very well equipped. The restaurant and food are of a high standard. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available, each with different courses. An afternoon game drive is included on the day of arrival, and a morning game drive on the day of departure. On full days, two game drives are conducted. All staff are very friendly and attentive. Large herds of elephants come to the pool to drink. Everything is just right here. Also a plus: No children are allowed at this camp which is a big plus.
Cons: The only thing we didn't like was our driver (Jeffrey) for the game drive. All guests were divided into three groups. The respective driver of each group was responsible for the entire stays game drive. Unfortunately, ours was the worst driver we have ever had on our game drives (Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, South Africa). We are generally very experienced with guides on safaris. The driver was not very communicative and only provided information about animals when necessary. We often drove back and forth for a long time without the driver saying a single word. During breaks, he was often on his cell phone, checking WhatsApp, Gmail or private pictures. We were also often the last ones at the sightings. The other drivers were simply faster and better. This is not a review about the animals as this is pure luck but more of his personality during the drive. The driver also seemed slightly passive-aggressive and provided such basics answers to every questions that it made the guests feel \
