Lovely camping experience!

Pros: Able to hear the wildlife at night- hyenas on the first night! Close to amenities. Comfortable beds. Aircon was a life saver. Made beds and washed dishes were certainly a surprise when we returned from our game drive.

Cons: Our tent was close to the road so we could hear the cars drive past in the gravel

Great options for staying inside Kruger

Pros: Conveniently located inside the park, with restaurant within walking distance. Staff was helpful with check-in. Air conditioning in the tents was very appreciated. Towels provided. Shared bathroom and shower facilities. Mini kitchenette (outdoors and under canvas) available, as well as larger kitchen areas (common).

Cons: We had a bit of water on the floor due to lack of seal on the side of the tent (it rained at night), but it you store your belongings on the bench provided, no issues.

Happysad

Pros: The self game drive was great, the animals and nature makes 1 appreciate. The tent was nice, the bed comfy with air con. It would have been better if we were told before hand that the reservation fees are not added, to our surprise after I inquired about other fees, so I couldn't enjoy the lodge and what it offers. That ruined the entire vacation as we had to stay by the tent. Our host was very nice...

Cons: Misinformation about extra costs, which really hurt me so bad coz I couldn't even buy a dinner or lunch or breakfast, we had to eat minimal of we carried to last us the 4 days, couldn't do any activities that were planned but drive the reserve before sun is to hot. The stoves they offered in the kitchen don't work, they just warm of a waste. Reserve fees must be acknowledged while booking. For the 10hr return trip I took was disappointed.

Would stay again!

Pros: This was the only accomodation I could find last minute in Lower Sabie and had low expectations but it was actually cute and very comfortable with parking space right next to tent, comfortable beds, ac, large fridge and a great campsite environment around. We saw more interesting animals here than Skukuza. Menzie, the young man who maintains the tents is lovely. No bugs in September, no crime.

Cons: The only slight discomfort is using a public shower and bathroom but was totally fine for us.

Great location, good restaurant, nice views along the the river

Pros: We booked the tents as a backup plan while travelling from Phalaborwa south to Marloth Park. We stopped at many places along the way and decided to stay for the night. The tents are very basic but comfortable. Restrooms were okay, a bit dated but clean. We had a great dinner at the Mug & Beans restaurant, with beautiful views overlooking the river

Cons: Nothing to complain. We arrived late afternoon and left early morning to continue our journey through the Kruger NP.
