Millys Restaurant and Chalets

Pros: Ideal stop on the way to Kruger. Very spacious unit with nice terrace on the Dam.. Excellent meal at Millys restaurant.

Cons: Nothing.

Good place to stay between Johannesburg and Kruger

Enjoyable & relaxing

Pros: Location overlooking the lake is good, the accomadation is the most spacious I have stayed in anywhere - I travel to Europe a lot & once to America/Canada

Cons: We stayed two seperate nights, on the first stop we said there was no light working in the bathroom - it was still out when we returned, although the second time it was fixed promptly. We were travelling self-catering to the Kruger, it would have been convienient to have had breakfast bowls for cerial. We didnt use the resturant that morning.

A beautiful place to stop over if you need to break the journey from Johannesburg to the Kruger Park

Pros: The view from the balcony was serene and I loved being that close to the water. I felt like I was on a cruise.

Pros: Easy access and security assisted with late check in. Very efficient and comfortable stay.

Cons: The little loft room. We had to upgrade to the bigger spaced rooms with dam views which was a 10/10.

Top notch and convenient

Pros: I loved the view, the helpfulness and warmth from the staff and the thoughtfulness of the little inclusions in the accommodation (eg. Filter coffee, rusks, earl grey tea). The rooms were beautifully laid out and the bathroom is huge.

Cons: Very minor details. The cups are too small but we were given bigger cups from the restaurant with a smile. For a longer stay, we were there for 4 days, a tea towel might be handy.

Pros: Location right over water. Rooms beautifully appointed. Good beds. Lovely rusks with choose of real plunger coffee or instant with homemade rusks. Very spacious with restaurant within walking distance

Cons: Bathroom is huge it could do with a night light. Didn't want to switch on mIn lights to wake my Husband. This was our second stay, so I brought an energency lamp which I plugged in so we could find our way to toilet during night

Well appointed, spacious accommodation. Neat, clean and chalet was easy to get to and from restaura

Pros: Food was excellent. Accommodation was superb. Was spacious and beautifully appointed. Was good to have a fridge in the room.
