The best ever

Pros: They followed my request for the room so nice. The staff was very friendly John and Tshepo. The room was very nice and clean and the food was good.

Cons: Wi-Fi was not working well

Pros: Breakfast was a buffet style which was nice.. a good variety of food

Cons: I also had dinner, however had to wait a long time to be assisted and also waited a longtime for the food to be ready.

I had the best stay with my family!

Pros: My stay was absolutely wonderful. From the receptionist to the waitresses, every member of staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent, and everyone was always willing to help with a smile. The food was amazing ,the chef truly knows what they’re doing. Every meal was well-prepared, flavorful, and felt like proper, high-quality food. The spa staff were just as friendly and professional, making the experience relaxing and comfortable. Throughout my stay, I felt welcomed, valued, and well taken care of. The location of the property is beautiful, and the way the hotel is designed and built adds to the overall experience. It’s a truly lovely place to stay I booked this hotel with a friend because we wanted to surprise our mothers with a spa experience. We had a few special requests, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate all of them, making the experience even more special and memorable.

Cons: Although the hotel is located in a beautiful, green, and misty mountain setting and the property itself is well built, it unfortunately looks abandoned due to a lack of maintenance. The spa area has huge potential to be one of the best inTzaneen because of its size and stunning mountain views, but it is not well maintained and does not receive the attention it deserves. The same applies to the pool area,it looks neglected, with overgrown grass, no proper decoration, and areas that need repainting. The long grass and untrimmed trees also block the beautiful mountain views. Some parts of the building, including the pool area and bathrooms, require repainting and upgrades. While the hotel does not need to be fully modernised, maintaining its old, vintage charm would actually enhance its uniqueness ,however, this still requires proper upkeep, which is currently lacking. I also feel the hotel is not being marketed well enough, despite its incredible potential. With proper maintenance and stronger marketing, this property could attract many more guests. The space would even be perfect for events such as high-tea gatherings, which would suit the atmosphere beautifully. Even the outdoor area near the reception is not well maintained, yet it has so much potential to be a lovely spot to sit and enjoy breakfast. Overall, the hotel is beautiful but clearly needs more care, maintenance, and strategic marketing. At present, it gives the impression of being abandoned, which is unfortunate given how special the property truly is.

Pros: The room was good, big and very nice and comfortable, The staff was very friendly and great breakfast, great heated swimming pool

Cons: The gardening is being neglected, grass not properly trimmed, the chefs are slow with your food, always have to wait at least an hour to get your order. Then there's only 3 or 4 free to air channels, sabc and Etv

We had a lovely time. The restaurant was amazing, we had the margaritas. The spa, sonar and heated pool was also amazing

Pros: Everything, we had an amazing time. We spent sometime at the restaurant and had the best margaritas. We also enjoyed the outdoor pool. We spent sometime at the Spa, Sonar and heated indoor pool. The staff were extremely friendly. We had a lovely time.

Awesome

Pros: Delicious and healthy breakfast. The location is breathtaking. The view is beautiful it brings you close to nature the beauty of being out of town.The room are spacious and clean.I will definitely come back for a weekend away

Cons: The road that I use il to the venue is full of potholes and I fully understand that it is beyond your control

Pros: Beautiful old hotel in a fantastic setting. Food was fabulous 👌

Cons: They didn’t have the items we ordered on the menu. They made replacements without checking with us first. For breakfast they had brown bread only 🙁. For someone with allergies this was rather frustrating.

Pros: Stayed here some years ago and this time found it much better.Bar menu very good but dinner menu much smaller but good.All the staff were very pleasannt.Only the weather would have made it better.
