Magoebaskloof Hotel

Pros: The place was clean, rooms are big and spacious, although there was no electricity they had a generator and it ran till 11pm which was really nice as we stayed at the restaurant till late and still manage to take hot showers at night. Views are amazing. The place is quiet and peaceful, pool is clean, breakfast is good but does not have many options, my partner does not eat pork so he was a bit limited in the breakfast area only having either chicken livers on one day or beef sausages on the next, would be nice to offer more options. Restaurant staff was friendly, compliments to Stanley.

Cons: No microwave and no bar fridge, we stayed for 2 days and sometimes we don't finish the food from the restaurant so quite boring to not have facilities to refrigerate and warm. After we left, an hour later, got a phone call that big towels are missing in our room and we must search our bags, I was really disappointed as this felt like an accusation, we checked out on time and stayed a long time for breakfast, to have been accused of potentially having taken the towels was not nice, management needs to do better. If it is that important then rather do an inspection when guests checkout immediately rather than accuse innocent people, I did not appreciate that.

Pros: Left early morn but enjoyed the dinner. The location is super.

Pros: I loved everything about the venue the stuff and deputy general manager where awesome. They made us feel at home with lots off love care. Everything exceeded our expectations wooww!!!

Cons: Only the weather was not good for us to view the full beauty of the hotel

Pros: The place itself... It's nice and clean.... Our lovely receptionist come on our lady has a very good customer service... She knows her job very well

Cons: They don't have pool for kids, wanna bring my kids but the rest is excellent

Pros: The stay was incredible! Beatiful views, amazing breakfast, spacious rooms. We had a lovely time!

Cons: The shower in our room was not great, the water was either too hot or too cold, and the pressure was so strong it felt like a million little needles. But other than that, we had a pleasant stay.

Exceptional definitely coming back

Pros: The service is exceptional the staff is very friendly .

Cons: To wait for my dinner for almost an hour and the Lady said they are busy serving curry ofwich i dnt rat it.

Great stay!

Pros: Everything went well. Friendly staff, willing to assist. Delicious breakfast-compliments to the chef. Standford made sure we had all that we needed and the fire to keep warm.

One of my best visits

Pros: The staff is very friendly, efficient, informative, and always happy to assist. The manager is on the ball (makes time to check if their quests are happy). The view is amazing from all angles, I went to celebrate my birthday, and when I got to my room, there were freshly picked bouquets of flowers 🥰, and petals on the floor and bed. That made my day extra special 🙏. I got there on a cold evening, the heating had already been switched on in the room. It was just so warm & cozy. The rooms are big and very clean, bed so comfortable, specious balconies with an amazing view, enough mirrors and specious closets. The food was great all the time. Ladies at the spa were awesome (Thank you so much, Caroline & Christina), I could go on for hours...

Cons: We had a bit of trouble with the door locking system. Ladies at the reception were quick to organize maintenance for that. They could do with a bit more carpet maintenance.

Home from home! Friendly staff. Just the best!

Pros: Room felt like coming home. Rusks with coffee. Cookies and water every day at our bedsides. Lovely bed. Warm bath. Warm blankets. Good coffee. Friendly staff. Best breakfasts ever!!!! Just love going back there! And a must add, the peace and tranquility!

Cons: There is NOTHING not to like!!!!!

Enjoed it enough

Cons: Furnishings rather worn. Hot water not always available.
